In a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement in Greater Idlib, militants occupying the region shelled civilian areas in northwestern Hama on August 26 morning.
The al-Fateh al-Mubeen Operations Room claimed responsibility for the artillery strikes, which had targeted the towns of Jurin and Barakeh. A large military camp of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is located near the town.
The operations room, which include Turkish-backed groups and a number of al-Qaeda factions, is led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
A source in Hama Police told the Syrian Arab News Agency that the artillery strikes on Jurin and Barakeh had injured at least one civilian.
The SAA usually responds to such violations by shelling militants positions in Greater Idlib. The army and its allies may also resume airstrikes on the region.
On March 5, Turkey and Russia reached an agreement to stabilize Greater Idlib. Ankara committed to neutralize the remaining militants in the region. Large Turkish forces were deployed there. However, no action was taken.

The Americunts are dying in the streets as their shithole cities implode, but they have increased arming the headchoppers in desperation. It is time for Russia to get serious too and use the S-400 and other superb systems to create a NO FLY ZONE and then bomb the living crap out of Idlib and roast the headchopper scum, they are already caged in a small area devoid of much cover. If Turkey can control Libya with just over 200 drones, then a major power like Russia can surely do better.
Yes. On the other hand: First secure the roads Al-Bukamal Deir Ezzor Damascus (combing operations) and Damascus Aleppo as they already do since spring. And between Tartus and Latakia, all these Syria roads can be linked to the Mediterranean See. The Shia crescent and their allies can build and secure an stronger economy from East to West in the core Syria. Obviously, the three problems big remains: Idlib, Al-Tanf, North-East. Up to me, getting back the Saraqib Jirs-Al-Shugur M4 chunk first could be a good thing to link Aleppo to the Mediterranean See again : one more step for the economy
