Greater Idlib: Syrian Army Shells More Turkish Posts Following Ceasefire Violations

On June 25, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) shelled three posts of the Turkish military in the northwestern region of Greater Idlib.

In the morning, the army shelled two Turkish posts in the northern outskirts of the government-held town of Saraqib in southern Idlib. No human losses were reported. However, a gathering of Turkish military vehicles was hit, according to the London-based for Human Rights.

A few hours later, the SAA artillery pounded a third Turkish post near the town of Qmenas, also in southern Idlib. There were no losses, however.

The SAA artillery strikes were most likely a response to recent violation of the ceasefire in Grater Idlib, which was brokered by Russia and Turkey on March 5 of last year. The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria records 30 to 40 ceasefire violations every day.

In the last few days, Turkish-backed militants, led by al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, stepped up their attacks. Several government-held towns and villages around Greater Idlib were shelled by the militants.

The SAA resumed its artillery strikes on Turkish forces in Greater Idlib recently in an attempt to pressure Ankara into implementing the ceasefire agreement.

While Turkey is doing nothing to stop ceasefire violations in Greater Idlib, it continues to provide militants in the region with military support.

Why are the Turks not concentrating their efforts against kurdish militants that could potentially threaten their Southeast border?

Instead we see they are supporting terrorist organizations in Idlib and no doubt continue to colaborate in oil theft operations run by their nato partner, the americans.

Cheap oil sent to the Black Sea and sold off to the zionists and ukronazi puppets, as was reported years ago.

If I don't steal it, someone else will steal it

“Kurds” are just an excuse to steal more land. Turds want to steal all the land they can, whether its in Syria or Iraq or Libya or anywhere else in the world.
