The September 14 drone strike on Saudi oil facilities in Buqayq and Khurais caused jitters across the Middle East and around the world. The strike carried out by Yemen’s Houthis disrupted about a half of Saudi Arabia’s oil production impacting around 5 million barrels per day of oil production.

The incident highlighted the vulnerability of the Saudi industry that supplies 10% of the world’s crude oil. Saudi Aramco, which pumped about 9.8 million barrels a day in August, announced that it’s already working to repare the damaged infrastructure. The company promised that it will restore about 2 million barrels per day of oil production by the end of September 16. However, it will take weeks to restore the full production capacity.

According to experts, Saudi Arabia will be able to keep customers supplied for several weeks by drawing on a global storage network. The Kingdom has millions of barrels in tanks in the kingdom itself, plus three large locations around the world: Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Okinawa in Japan, and Sidi Kerir on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt. Despite this, the oil price grew dramatically because of the attack and the energy market is in a kind of chaos.

On September 16, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) warned of more strikes on Saudi Arabia’s oil infrastructure. Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e advised foreigners to avoid the areas of Bqaiq and Khurais because they could be attacked again. He also said that Houthi forces will expand their operations against Saudi Arabia until the aggression against Yemen is stopped.

In own turn, Saudi Arabia claimed that Iranian weapons were used in aerial strikes over the weekend that interrupted much of the kingdom’s oil production, and that the attacks were not launched from Yemen. Saudi Arabia provided no evidence to confirm these claims. However, they clearly went in the framework of the US approach of directly blaming Iran.

“The investigation is continuing, and all indications are that weapons used in both attacks came from Iran,” Colonel Turki al-Malki, spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition that invaded Yemen said. Saudi Arabia, he added, was seeking to determine “where they were fired from.”

Earlier, speculations appeared that the attacks on targets in eastern Saudi Arabia may have been launched not from Yemen. The first version of this speculations suggested that drones may have been launched by Iran-allied units of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units. Nonetheless, on September 16, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stressed that Iraq’s “territory was not used to carry out this attack”.

Mainstream media outlets, with help of various ‘anonymous sources’, are now pushing an idea that the strike was delivered by Iran. For instance, ABC News claimed citing “a senior Trump administration official” that “Iran launched nearly a dozen cruise missiles and over 20 drones from its territory”.

“Iran launched nearly a dozen cruise missiles and over 20 drones from its territory in the attack on a key Saudi oil facility Saturday, a senior Trump administration official told ABC News Sunday.

It is an extraordinary charge to make, that Iran used missiles and drones to attack its neighbor and rival Saudi Arabia, as the region teeters on the edge of high tensions,” ABC News claimed.

The level of tensions came to the level when US President Donald Trump said that the US is “locked and loaded” to respond with a force, waiting for verification of who was responsible and for word from Saudi Arabia on how to proceed.

The Trump administration has previously blamed Iran for the actions of the Houthis. However, so far, satellite images of the strike impact have been the only evidence that the US has released. This barely can serve as a confirmation of the Iranian involvement.

In this light, it’s possible to take into account other versions. Saudi Arabia currently has very complicated relations with the UAE and Qatar, located much closer to Buqayq and Khurais than Iran or any position of Iranian-backed forces. Furthermore, tensions between the UAE and Saudi Arabia grew to the level when UAE-backed and Saudi-backed forces openly clash in southern Yemen. The Qatari-Saudi relations have also been in a deep crisis since 2017. Therefore, these states have a direct interest in assisting to such a strike or, if we believe in the version that the Houthis were not involved, even delivering it by themselves.

It should be noted that the recent developments came just a few days ahead of the parliament election in Israel (scheduled for September 17). Israel already closed airspace on the contact line with Lebanon in a move described by local sources as preparations for a possible escalation.

If September 17 would be marked by further attacks on Saudi Arabia or some ‘mysterious’ incidents in Syria, Iraq or even on the Israeli-Lebanese contact line, the situation in the Middle East may blow up. The US-Israeli-Saudi policy has turned the region into a powder keg that could explode at any moment.

Meanwhile, Iran has built a mock US aircraft carrier to allow own forces to practice aicraft carrier seizure operations ahead of a possible conflict:

There will not be war. It can be about punishment only by USA Co Saudi.

People writing like this are the ones, which hope for it.

Strange if Russians did it. They like none of them.

Interesting reading, thanks. The stabilization towers are at the left, natural gas taken out goes to the tanks at right. I was thinking maybe not 17 hits, some of the hits in tanks might be photo shopped. Close ups of the towers has not been provided, this may be the worst of the damage.

You can call me Al

Yes, too many pictures out trying to minimise the damage done as per official Saudi damage limitation, personally I ignored all of these.

What we know is that the damage is huge as we can see the fires right along at least 1 train… it is all being down played for the obvious reason that the Yanks failed in defending SA.

frankly

Gosh how many wars would we have now if the world appropriately responded every time the US illegally interrupted the oil flow in a sovereign nation?

Gosh all the simple analog wisdom applies. Live by the sword,,,

It’s nice to see the actions of the real terrorists uniting the world in opposition.

Garga

From the first minutes after the attack it was apparent their scheme to blame Iran (the Kuwaiti footage). This time they started very early, still it’s amazing how US’s word has lost it’s credibility to an extent that even the closest allies and their own Congress members oppose it. I’m sure the US will publish ample evidence incriminating Iran in no time, I’m sure!

Anyway, I doubt if this results in a real war. I think they’ll try again to gather the gang against Iran and pressure it further, knowing fully well that they can’t do it in the UNSC.

Tonight is the last opportunity for Nutty the Yahoo to start a war for whatever flimsy reason to save his hide. This time there’s no gift from the US and he couldn’t bring anything from Russia, unlike the last elections. Even Adelson and his wife took a dump on him and Miss Piggy in various Haaretz and Yediot Ahronot articles. I guess we’ll find out soon enough. It’s a pity if he doesn’t win the elections. As much as I’m sure that the next Israeli PM would be as rabid and nut as he is (if not more, think Lieberman), I doubt if the next one will be hell-bent enough to destroy his own regime for personal gains. Dudes like him and Trump are priceless for the rest of us.

Zionism = EVIL

The Saudis are in no condition to wage a war and Americunt weapons have been a total embarrassment. No wonder Russia is offering to sell them the S-400.

d'Artagnan

The Pentagon has already ruled out any military option against Iran as there is no definitive proof of any Iranian involvement . Any insane direct attack on Iran would result in swarms of missiles and drones hitting U.S. military installations in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar. Saudi water desalination plants, refineries, airports and ports would also be targets.

It is more than doubtful that the draft dodger Trump or the inept Saudis are ready to risk such a response.

You can call me Al

LOL, I have just posted the same (I think) to you….. with a reprimand ….. well rude words.

Tom Tom

Nutty the Bush killed a half million in Iraq, and Nutty the Obomber killed over a million in Libya (400,000), Syria (500,000), and Yemen (250,000). See any real difference? Did Adelson not take a dump on the Obomber? Of course he did. But democrat wars are okay for the hypocrites like you.

Zionism = EVIL

Iraq was a weak failed stated run by a madman, Iran is a different story and there is less ZERO chance of any war. The Americunts will go home in body bags and the Zionist entity will disappear, Saudis will be wreaked along with an already weak global economy, thanks to the moron draft dodging fatass Trump’s losing economic war with China.

Tom Tom

you just make excuses for Obomber.

Harold Smith

So you’re jewish?

Tiresia Branding

garga is not American, I think you’ve miserunderstood. And yes Adelson are Lieberman’s sponsors, maybe worst than Nutty

Wtf are you taling about?

There are no such things as democrat wars and republican wars, get your head out of the sand. These are all bankster/israeli wars.

The evidence is all around you if one looks with his eyes bot his feet.

FlorianGeyer

Tom Tom is just worried that his feet are standing in your concrete, just as your ever hardening evidence threatens his ‘ fantasy world’, Mike.

Tom Tom

you comment without even understanding what I said. Dem wars/Repub wars are the same, fronted by the military industrial complex with an added dash of fighting Israel’s wars (for profit).

Tom Tom

you just made my point, genius. Its the same. of course they’re all bankster/Israel wars. Perhaps you could read my post again. My point is many democrats were against Iraq, but they’re okay with Libya, Syria, Yemen.

Ashok Varma

The burning Saudi oil refineries and oil fields are more an indictment of abject US military and foreign policy failures than the growing sophistication of Yemeni drones.

The humiliating Abqaiq attacks should not — could not — have come as a surprise. Since the Saudis led a murderous Wahhabi coalition into war against the majority Houthi Zaidi Shia in Yemen four years ago to impose a puppet Hadi regime, retaliatory Yemeni strikes have grown in frequency and sophistication.

The Houthis may have started the war as a ragtag militia, but they have been receiving training and assistance from Iran, the Shia diaspora including the world’s second largest Indian Shia population and its other other globally renowned all— Hezbollah, most notably — as well as progressively deadlier weapons, including drones and cruise missiles. The Saudis following Israeli advise have been indiscriminately bombing Yemeni civilians to break the will of the people, meanwhile opposite has happened, they have not only failed to dislodge the Houthis from Sana’a, but also has been unable to impose a blockade on arms supplies to the Zaidis who now control access to the critical Red Sea shipping lanes. The Saudis are now totally exposed and the US has equally been proved as supplier of dud weapons.

You can call me Al

How is the training and supply of military equipment possible if Saudi Arabia have a full blockade on The Yemen ?.

BlueHeadLizard

No this conflict in the Middle East is a long term success story for USA foreign and economic policy.

1. Saudi Oil is largely exported to China, Japan, India and Europe, USA’s Eurasia based economic rivals, so any disruption or increase in the Oil price reduces their competitiveness so helping USA.

2. US Oil & Gas local shale industry was on the racks with cost of production below price. An increase in the oil prices brings this back into the money. USA is particularly angling for western Europe to buy USA O&G.

3. USA does not have to wins wars in Eurasia, rather it needs to provoke and prolong wars by creating and antagonising conflict. This prevents Eurasia from coming together for trade and exchange e.g. via China Silk Road initiative. So it works better for USA foreign policy if it never wins wars in Eurasia, but rather maintains festering low level. prolonged conflict.

4. Conflict in Eurasia, especially the Middle East is USA military industry main revenue generator and also a testing ground for new ‘products’.

Zionism = EVIL

Americunts are dead broke and 6 million are shitting in the streets, so me thinks not :(

Tiresia Branding

well said, exactly my thought

You can call me Al

As I posted above, just have a look at this – https://journal-neo.org/2019/09/16/the-strange-case-of-the-burning-saudi-refineries/

d'Artagnan

My personal opinion is that Ansarallah should attack the refinery again in a short time with a double tap. The justification to attack refineries in Saudi Arabia is given daily to Ansar Allah in Yemen since Saudis are attacking and bombing Yemen’s civilians everyday.

Attacking this or other refineries in west of Saudi Arabia again rejects the West claim that it was done by Iran and also gives Saudi a proper blow to rethink. Saudi should understand that its crimes in Yemen should end soon. The UAE which has also committed various war crimes in Yemen and LIbya must also be attacked and Dubai airport is a legitimate target.

Luke Hemmming

Apparently the Houthis attacked the pipeline to Bahrain. SA shut it down.

Saso Mange

Reality of war has finally hit them in the head. And it might hit them harder.

Tommy Jensen

Saudi has nothing to do with the Yemen war. They only proxy for US^UK. Another issue is that fragmentation of Saudi is part of the Yinon Plan.

Saso Mange

Yeah it seems that Trump has already pacified his rhetoric lol what a crazy billionaire.

Silver Fox 183

Hi, what relevance is the Kuwaiti footage and what exactly does it show? I have always been mystified by that.

Garga

Hello. Right after the attacks, someone published a footage showing 3 or 4 flying objects, saying he’s a Kuwaiti in Kuwait and the objects coming from Iraq going to the general direction of Al-Buqayq. There were initial reports blaming the attacks on PMU, before the narrative changes (after Pompeo spoke to Iraqi PM) into a direct attack from Iran. Most of the websites pulled down the reports, this one is from AMN which contains the footage: https://cdnm.almasdarnews.com/article/unverified-video-allegedly-shows-houthi-drones-heading-towards-saudi-arabia-from-iraq/

Silver Fox 183

Hi Garga. I saw that footage and that struck me as evidence that maybe some of the attack had come from Iraq and maybe the Iraqi militias up there. What exactly is being portrayed in those videos? What is that a video of? How was the video created? I guess I don’t understand. You mean that is a video from some other time and place? The video is doctored? Because that sounds like a cruise missile in that video and it looks like one too. I only saw one object in the video, claimed to be a fisherman from Kuwait.

Why did most websites pull the reports?

Garga

The footage might be really from the place and the time which it claims, but it proves nothing. It could be some airplanes doing routine tasks and completely unrelated to the attacks. This film published less than an hour after the attacks, where they started to create the narrative. The narrative which tries to convince us that the attacks was anything but what Yemeni armed forces says. If you follow the news (from the both sides) and pay enough attention, you recognize that western-style MSM acts in certain ways. It doesn’t matter what the truth is, all that matters is what they decide it should be. They start by saying something wild, then when they hit a problem, they change the story and the story changes and evolves in a way so it “proves” to you as the target audience that what they say is the truth (examples are numerous, from the Malaysian airliner to Skripal). In this case, from the minutes after the attack they decided to put blame on Iran. Evidence? The installations were attacked from the west side, so they say the “missiles” came from Iraq which is located north/north-west of the complex, flying over Kuwait (because PMU). At this moment, they pretend they never heard of circling the target and attacks from the points which defence is weaker, like almost every single bomb run in history (Now is a good time to remember a few months ago, when some tankers were attacked and they blamed it on Iran. At the time, some argued that the damaged side of the ships faced UAE and not Iran and of course they were ridiculed because it’s not related and it proves nothing). Pompeo announces it. A few hours later he speaks with Iraqi PM. We don’t know what they exchanged, but suddenly the narrative changes and the attack no longer came from Iraq. At this point, the footage became a liability for the narrative. Now they say the attacks came directly from Iran. But the complex was attacked from the west side, and half of Saudi air defence plus US air defence stationed in Bahrain and Qatar happens to in the way, so they immediately remembered that drones and cruise missiles are indeed able to maneuver/circle over target and are not limited to attack from the direction which they came from. In other words, the initial “proof” that attack came from PMU bases in Iraq now becomes moot and nobody talks about it. All this, despite Yemen’s armed forces officially and proudly accepted the responsibility for attacks and despite demonstrating their ability to carry on such attacks before numerous times. They decided Iran is to blame and goddamit they will prove Iran is to blame! I guess it’s just too embarrassing to admit Yemen kicked their collective behinds and rendered billions of dollars worth of “sophisticated” American military hardware useless. What makes it worse is Yemen warned them before that they’re going to retaliate their bombing of civilians with hitting their oil and military infrastructure and Yemen delivered on this promise.

Tommy Jensen

Obama leading from behind has ordered 100 000 US troops to gather around the borders on Iran.

US Air-Carriers are being positioned and US nuclear submarines the worlds largest subs are finally ready for a battle against Americas worst nightmare and enemy ever, the $42 trillion oil^gas reserve country Iran.

Trump talking about a big lie is a bad joke. Coming from the man who attacked Syria twice on bogus chemical weapons claims.

A war with Iran would be economic suicide for the US and political suicide for Trump. His chicken hawk “allies” would scatter like the rats that they are, or attack him for doing what they wanted as soon as it failed.

ColinNZ

It’s always a giveaway when the usual suspects are ready & primed to lay blame for an act of aggression before any investigation has started and sometimes even before an event has started. If they launch a significant military attack on Iran, THIS will be the last leg of the anglozionist empire collapsing under the weight of their own exceptional arrogance … it will be horrific for millions and possible also that humanity itself may not survive, but at least it will be the end of this scum-filled anglozionist cesspit that has terrorised and destroyed the world for so long.

Yep its true canada is a jewish cesspool. Take it from a canadian. They have their own towns within cities all to themselves and are known to bypass so many laws and avoid taxes yet nobody says anything about it because “antisemitism…” . Its sickening. Not to forget it is canadian jews who birthed the ridiculous feminist movement that is rampant in the US now. They are always the first to encourage anti straight-white-men propaganda or to teach trans sexual ideas to your children in school. Im not making this shit up. What a farce this country has become.

Zionism = EVIL

Evil Jews are also pushing unnecessary Canadian meddling in Ukraine and counter-productive policies against Iran like selling Iranian diplomatic assets illegally to pay off parasitic Jews for some imaginary grievances. Jews have become a complete cancer for most of the western world, especially North America, Australia, UK and parts of Europe. Jews are undermining western culture and societies with “multi-culturalism” and gender wars, LGBTI perverse counter-culture, anti Caucasian male bias, homosexuality and a breakdown of normal family structures.

America and Nato are fully capable of defending its Allies against aggression. The timing is however not the right moment right now in an investigative phase but later when US decide it.

All these smiles will disappear when America and the Atlantic Council with all its Allies have its next meeting WITHOUT Russia whose economy is in complete tatters, and Putin who is isolated on the International usury scene.

hvaiallverden

Yup, the MSM went bananas, and Trump, locked him self in the bath, loaded, huh.

So far, I dont think it will escalate into an all out war, and the rethoric is already been toned down, and to drool something about made in Iran means jack shit, and they and I know it, its more babbeling than anything else, of course the JoohoPress aka the western MSM is hammering/salviating about doing something, of course against Iran, when they cant prove anything, and we all know that, so, like the Tankers whom where uh….. sabotaged, and blamed exlusivly on the Iranians without an single evidence what so every, just evaporated out of the limelight so fast it alone was curious, and this case is even worse, since the region is packed to the brim with radars etc, and nobody saw anything. Huh. And the well pisser army of dilution and divertion is also out in full force, with everything from Saudis doing it them self to the Joohos, and even the Mouth of Sauron, the idiot Jens the shithead of ZATO, is also drooling something and is conserned, and hump that with images witch I dont even bother to see where the last decades have shown my one thing, and that is I never ever trust anything the west pimps as to prove or show us something, uh…. images of whatever of anything, it is not worthy to be engaged into. And I will antispate the Pompous ass latest uh… profs with an yawn, what is it this time, huh, Amoronkians, yeah, maybe Santa Claus, since the radars cant see Him, or even better, Thor with the Hammer.

Then we have the basked case, the Saudi-barbarians them self, witch also drools something about Iranian made weapons, witch is as close you get to just have to say something, anything, to hide other things, like the fact they are in deep dodo, and I wounder if they will survive this coming winter, thats another issue, but is coming into the forfront when and if the UssA desides to go to an all out war against Iran. How many will then be thrown into the pit, what fronts will emerge, and then we have Iraq smack in the middle, to even ISISarel it self is then an target, etc, to the Saudis, there is a lot of things we know little about, and I read mostly coments made by either idiots, morons, habaRats, and you have to be patient to find any good ones, they are an rear comodity this days of liqvifyed manure flowing in biblical scales this days. And on top of it, when the raving loonie Bolton left, was replaced with something even worse, Yiipee. And I tought Bolton was nuts, yeah, and now He looks like an nice old grandfather comapred to the spectatculare basketcase He was preplaced with, yeah, dryning the swamp, the shit stench is already become worse.

Intresting times indeed. I am certain this was done by Houtis, period, and next time, go for the Crackers, the ones we call, Boiling towers, they are extremly valuable and wil take much longer time to fix than anything else, tanks are ok, but the drifting is stil by large intact, wack the towers and the process plant goes dark for an much longer time. Happy hunting.

The four identical, extremely accurate, impacts on the round structures in the photos look more like kinetic impacts rather than explosions. And, it would have to be something weighing at least 100 lbs.with high velocity to punch a hole about 6 feet wide like that. This looks like a glide bomb with perhaps the warheads intentionally not detonated on impact, thus giving the impression that it was a small drone explosion that made these identical 6′ holes in the structures. Watch the video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j09uoOvi1tk

Just ask yourself … If Iran has drones that can hit four round structures like this in the exact same spot, undetected, that means they could fly one of these things through an aircraft carrier hanger door sitting out in the Indian Ocean. Iran does not have that technology.

Obviously , it was not Iran that did this. It was probably Israel. Israel recently launched small glide bombs against Iraqi Shia militias in Iraq. And, they did this either from US Coalition territory or from Azerbaijan. The bombs can glide 60 miles after being released at high altitude. Israel has a version of this glide bomb, but it has a video camera for final pinpoint accuracy. That is how they achieved the four identical hits in the photo.

PZIVJ

Question is: are the 4 hits real as far as photos, tank at top does appear to have burn damage. Pictures claimed 17 impacts, to make people believe N Yemen could not do this with stated 10 drones or cruise missiles. In order to blame Iran. Even though the attack came from the west.

RamboDave

Yes, I see the burn marks on the round tank at the top. But, remember kinetic bombs without explosives will generate incredible energy when they glide in to an impact. If they hit a pipe filled with oil, that oil will be ignited.

Israel probably just wanted to create small fires, and small holes, to make it look like small low tech unsophisticated drones at work. Something that Iran might be capable of. The fires may have gotten out of hand. Apparently an F-35 can carry 8 of the small GPS guided glide bombs described in my post above. Thus two F-35’s could have carried out the attack. Only needing to approach within 60 miles of the target.

“Saudi Aramco…announced that it’s already working to repare the damaged infrastructure.”

Time for a double-tap!

The damage is quite extensive and will take months. This was a test run and repeat performance is more than likely depending on how the Saudis and their US masters react. It is doubtful that anything beyond usual condemnation of Iran is on the cards.

A full scale suicidal war against Iran in the Persian Gulf and wider region is not even a remote possibility. The US is suffering a bigger embarrassment at the failure of its expensive and much touted weaponry and the western weapons spruikers will push more weapons to the Saudis and feed their insecurity and make billions. This have been a colossal failure of American intelligence and technology. Saudis would be better off buying Russian weapons as Putin has offered. Getting closer to Russia, like Turkey is doing will also improve relations with Iran, a Russian ally. Not even Turkey, offered the much hated Saudis any support after the drone strike.

Absent from Western mainstream media narratives (to present a falsified version of events through omission of key information) is the fact that Saudi Arabia and its Western bloc backers/collaborators are engaging in a war of aggression against Yemen to install aligned political assets (oil resources being a factor in the conflict)

– “The Saudis and French are illegally siphoning 63% of Yemen’s oil as millions of Yemenis suffer from food shortages….. “Saudi Arabia has set up an oil base in collaboration with the French Total company in the Southern parts of Kharkhir region near the Saudi border province of Najran and is exploiting oil from the wells in the region….. Sixty-three percent of Yemen’s crude production is being stolen by Saudi Arabia in cooperation with Mansour Hadi, the fugitive Yemeni president, and his mercenaries.” It’s an open secret that the U.S.-backed war against the people of Yemen is yet another resource war…… as U.S. client states rob the country blind, seven million people continue to starve across Yemen….. there are still plenty of mechanisms in place to ensure that dutiful western news consumers never encounter unappetizing truths.” (US Client States Steal 60 Percent of Yemen’s Oil While Seven Million Yemenis Starve to Death, Matthew Allen, 06/03/2017)

– “A senior Yemeni political analyst underlined that Washington, Tel Aviv and their regional Arab allies have joined hands to establish full control over Bab al-Mandeb Strait and Yemen’s oil reserves. “The main reason for setting up a Saudi-led Arab coalition for attacking Yemen is protecting Israel’s interests in the region,”….. Al-Jahed said when Saudi Arabia could not implement the US plans for partitioning the region, it resorted to war in Yemen….. “The US is trying to take control of the world’s most important waterways, including the strategic Bab al-Mandeb Strait which connects the Red Sea to the Arab Sea; Eritrea and Djibouti have common sea borders with Yemen,”….. a prominent political analyst revealed UAE’s attempts to gain control over the Southern parts of Yemen in cooperation with the US and in rivalry with Saudi Arabia. “The UAE is after more cooperation with the US to fully control and occupy the Southern parts of Yemen,”…. the UAE has paid 1.9 billion dirhams to the US security companies for collaboration in occupying Southern Yemen.”( Analyst: US, Israel, Arab Allies Plotting to Plunder Yemen’s Oil Reserves, Control Bab Al-Mandeb, FarsNews, Jun 01, 2016)

– “In addition to its geopolitical position as a major global oil transit chokepoint, Yemen is reported to hold some of the world’s greatest untapped oil reserves. Yemen’s Masila Basin and Shabwa Basin are reported by international oil companies to contain “world class discoveries.” France’s Total and several smaller international oil companies are engaged in developing Yemen’s oil production. Some fifteen years ago I was told in a private meeting with a well-informed Washington insider that Yemen contained “enough undeveloped oil to fill the oil demand of the entire world for the next fifty years.” (The Yemen Hidden Agenda: Behind the Al-Qaeda Scenarios, A Strategic Oil Transit Chokepoint by F. William Engdahl, January 5, 2010)

The AMBO was a key factor in the U.S.-NATO war against Yugoslavia (partition )[1-3]. The TAPI pipeline was a key factor in the war against Afghanistan (and the discovery of other vast resources) [4-6]. U.S. officials openly stated an objective of the Iraq war was to install an aligned government and to secure Iraq oil (in addition to attacking a strategic opponent of Israel as revealed in emails obtained by Wikileaks) [7-10]. Wikileaks obtained emails reveal a key factor in the war against Libya was oil [11]. The U.S. is currently seeking to partition and secure oil producing regions of Syria through proxies (Kurds)[12-13]. Venezuela and Iran, both currently the latest targets of US-NATO regime change efforts are major oil producers.

Bondsteel was built on contract to the Pentagon by Halliburton, through its engineering subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR)…. The US and NATO had advanced plans to bomb Yugoslavia before 1999, and many European political leaders now believe that the US deliberately used the bombing of Yugoslavia to establish camp Bondsteel in Kosovo. According to Colonel Robert L. McCure, “Engineering planning for operations in Kosovo began months before the first bomb was dropped.”

2. “One of the objectives underlying Camp Bondsteel was to protect the Albanian-Macedonian-Bulgarian Oil pipeline project (AMBO), which was to channel Caspian sea oil from the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Burgas to the Adriatic. Coincidentally, two years prior to the invasion, in 1997, a senior executive of `Brown & Root Energy, a subsidiary of Halliburton, Edward L. (Ted) Ferguson had been appointed to head AMBO. The feasibility plans for the AMBO pipeline were also undertaken by Halliburton’s engineering company, Kellog, Brown & Root Ltd.” (The Criminalization of the State: “Independent Kosovo”, a Territory under US-NATO Military Rule, February 4, 2008),

3. “Ultimately the strategy of the destabilization of Yugoslavia served various imperial objectives. The war in Yugoslavia was waged in order to enlarge NATO…. a passageway for the transport of oil and natural gas from the Caspian region was to be facilitated through the construction of the Trans-Balkan pipeline [AMBO]….. The pipeline project, supported since 1994, “featured prominently in Balkan war politics. On attended a meeting about the scheme in Sofia, and linked it inextricably to Kosovo.” The message given at the meeting was that, “if you [the United States] want Albanian consent for the Trans-Balkan pipeline, you had better wrest Kosovo out of the hands of the Serbs.” [Albanian president, December 9, 1998]” (Empire, Energy and Al-Qaeda: The Anglo-American Terror Network, The Imperial Anatomy of al-Qaeda, Part II, Andrew Gavin Marshall, September 8, 2010)

5. “In June 2001, an announcement was made by US Secretary of State, Colin Powell, that the US would give the Taliban government of Afghanistan a gift of $43 million, “which made the United States the main sponsor of the Taliban.” In 1997, Halliburton, with Dick Cheney as its CEO, secured a contract in Turkmenistan for exploration and drilling in the Caspian Sea basin…. In the summer of 2001, the Taliban were leaked information from top secret meetings that the Bush regime was planning to launch a military operation against the Taliban in July to replace the government. A US military contingency plan existed on paper to attack Afghanistan from the north by the end of the summer.

A former Pakistani diplomat told the BBC that the US was planning military action against Osama bin Laden and the Taliban before the 9/11 attacks. Niaz Naik, former Pakistani Foreign Secretary, “was told by senior American officials in mid-July that military action against Afghanistan would go ahead by the middle of October.” Conclusion: The war on Afghanistan was launched on October 7, 2001. An operation of this size could not be planned and executed within three weeks, as we are led to believe. The plans and preparations were in place in the year leading up to the invasion….. The result of this war on Afghanistan is that Afghanistan’s new President is Hamid Karzai, a former Unocal adviser, opium production reaches record level every single year, and as of April 2008, a US-sponsored pipeline agreement was signed with Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, and may have Canadian forces in Afghanistan guarding the pipeline route. Mission Accomplished. (Origins of Afghan War, Andrew G. Marshall, Geopoliticalmonitor, September 14, 2008)

The initiative aims to encourage investment and create new economic and transit connections within the region.” (Afghanistan Has ‘World-Class’ Mineral Resources, U.S. Says Bloomberg Businessweek, By Nicole Gaouette, September 29, 2011)

That April 2001 report, “Strategic Policy Challenges for the 21st Century,” was prepared by the James A. 9. “leaked memos from October and November 2002 show that BP, Shell, and BG (formerly British Gas) all met with then-Trade Minister Baroness Symons, emphasizing how important the acquisition of assets in Iraq was. Minister Symons told BP in October that it was the Blair Government’s position that British oil companies should be given a share of Iraq’s enormous oil reserves as a “reward” for Tony Blair’s outspoken support for the war. This is, it must be remembered, five months before the war began. A November 2002 meeting involved BP apparently saying they were “desperate” to get into Iraq and were concerned that “political deals” might keep them out. ” (Memos: Oil Companies Pushed Britain Over Iraq War in 2002, Trade Minister Lobbied for BP Oil Deals as ‘Reward’ for UK Backing War, by Jason Ditz, April 18, 2011)

10. “Iraq under Saddam Hussein did not pose a threat to the United States but it did to Israel, which is one reason why Washington invaded the Arab country, according to a speech made by a member of a top-level White House intelligence group. IPS uncovered the remarks by Philip Zelikow, who is now the executive director of the body set up to investigate the terrorist attacks on the United States in September 2001 – the 9/11 commission – in which he suggests a prime motive for the invasion just over one year ago was to eliminate a threat to Israel, a staunch U.S. ally in the Middle East….. The statements are the first to surface from a source closely linked to the Bush administration acknowledging that the war, which has so far cost the lives of nearly 600 U.S. troops and thousands of Iraqis, was motivated by Washington’s desire to defend the Jewish state.” (IRAQ: War Launched to Protect Israel – Bush Adviser, By Emad Mekay, IPS, Mar 29 2004)

11.”One of the 3,000 Hillary Clinton emails released by the State Department on New Year’s Eve [has] revealed evidence that NATO’s plot to overthrow Gaddafi was fueled by first their desire to quash the gold-backed African currency, and second the Libyan oil reserves. The email in question was sent to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by her unofficial adviser Sydney Blumenthal titled “France’s client and Qaddafi’s gold”. From Foreign Policy Journal: The email identifies French President Nicholas Sarkozy as leading the attack on Libya with five specific purposes in mind: to obtain Libyan oil, ensure French influence in the region, increase Sarkozy’s reputation domestically, assert French military power, and to prevent Gaddafi’s influence in what is considered “Francophone Africa.” Most astounding is the lengthy section delineating the huge threat that Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves, estimated at “143 tons of gold, and a similar amount in silver,” posed to the French franc (CFA) circulating as a prime African currency.” (Hillary Emails Reveal NATO Killed Gaddafi to Stop Libyan Creation of Gold-Backed Currency, June 13, 2017)

12. “The common theme to these events in Iran, Iraq and Syria [was] that all three countries are either major producers of oil and gas or, in that case of Syria, a vital link in the supply lines of oil and gas to western markets. Mossadegh’s “crime” had been to nationalize the Anglo Persian oil company (now BP) so that Iran would benefit from its natural resources rather than western oil companies and their shareholders. A key element in the war in Syria dates from 2000 when a pipeline for Qatari gas that would transit Syria was proposed. By far the most economic method of exporting Qatari gas was by pipeline. This proposal was however, opposed by Bashar al Assad….. From the US point of view, a Qatari gas pipeline would not only support a US ally (there are two huge US military bases in Qatar) but also undermine the Russian economy. [the Qatari pipeline was also in opposition to a proposed Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline (also bypassing Turkey)]…. In 2009 the Syrian government announced that it would refuse to allow the pipeline to traverse Syrian territory. Furthermore, Syria announced that they would support an alternative pipeline to carry Iranian gas via Iraq and Syria to European destinations. This was not only an alternative, it was a Shia alternative, guaranteed to outrage Saudi Arabia and its Sunni allies in the region, but also Israel who saw it as strengthening Hezbollah and Hamas, two Shia groups in Lebanon and Palestine respectively who oppose the Israeli government. We now know from leaked documents, that the plan to destabilize the Syrian government began immediately after Al Assad’s announcement. This plan included funding and arming opposition groups in Syria, and also foreign Jihadis…” (As the Syrian War Draws to a Close, What Has Australia Learned, James ONeill, Journal-NEO, 30/07/2018)

13. “In 2013, top Obama Administration officials described their policy in the Syrian War as one of keeping the war going….. The Washington Post this week quoted an unnamed Administration official as saying that “right now, our job is to help create quagmires [for Russia and the Syrian regime] until we get what we want.” (US Strategy in Syria: ‘Create Quagmires Until We Get What We Want’, Jason Ditz, August 31, 2018)

Note: U.S. economic warfare actions against Iran and Venezuela conform to acts of war (and crimes against humanity under definitions of international law recognising the collective punishment format of the economic strangulation operations as correctly stated by Iranian and Venezuelan officials). Despite not being in a direct kinetic stage, the direction of U.S. actions mean this is only a matter of time.

I am asking mr Donald J. Trump : We know that when the authorities are searching for the culprit and once they spot him they arrest him immediately. If you have verifications ,then why you wait for the Kingdom to advocate your believe ? Or the Kingdom is the Devil’s advocate?

You can call me Al

Two things to mention:

1. As stated above “In own turn, Saudi Arabia claimed that Iranian weapons were used in aerial strikes over the weekend that interrupted much of the kingdom’s oil production”…… this is out of the playbook that was used regards the MH-17.

MH-17 = Russian BUK weapons shot down the plane, so it is Russians fault.… errrr NO, because Ukraine had been using old USSR equipment versions of the models for decades.

Saudi refinery = Iranian weapons (missiles) hit the refinery, so it was Iran’s fault…..errrr NO, because The Yemen have been using Iranian equipment versions of the models for decades.

2. A similar read, maybe more comprehensive – https://journal-neo.org/2019/09/16/the-strange-case-of-the-burning-saudi-refineries/
