Ahmed Mismari, a spokesman for the Libyan National Army (LNA), announced that the LNA is imposing a ban on any commercial flights from Libya to Turkey and Turkish ships from docking in the country.
He added that any aircraft arriving from Turkey attempting to land in the capital Tripoli would be treated as hostile. The LNA representative threatened that the LNA would attack any Turkish military presence, without elaborating.
Turkey has supplied dozens of armoured vehicles to forces of the Government of National Accord controling Tripoli. Ankara’s unmanned combat aerial vehicles also provide air support to GNA forces clashing with the LNA.
Turkish support played an important role in the recent GNA advance on the town of Gharyan, which had been an important logistical hub of the LNA south of Tripoli.
God bless Erdoğan he is everywhere.
