Almost half of the German Leopard 2 tanks delivered to Kiev have already been put out of service. This data was reported by German Major General Christian Freuding, head of the Situation Center Ukraine in the Bundeswehr. it’s really a sick joke, 18 leopard tanks or 31 abrams etc. one old us general even admitted it. saying that “31 tanks is laughable. what about sending at least 310 or 810 tanks to ukraine ?” so to make a difference thus really helping ukraine to raise their offensive capabilities. such amounts might be sufficiant if switzerland battles lichtenstein, but for ukraine vs. russia such numbers are just a sick joke, indeed.

i dont buy the excuse. the russians have destroyed the tanks. but for hypothetical completeness its probably much easier to repair a tank in a workshop in a quiet little german town than in a workshop in ukraine in the midst of weekly airstrikes where you can get blown to bits at any moment.nato has no clue.
