On June 5, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) security forces attacked a military camp of ISIS in the village of Kefir Hind near the Syrian-Turkish border in the northwestern Idlib countryside, according to the HTS-linked news agency Iba’a.

Osama al-Shami, a senior security commander of HTS, told Iba’a that HTS fighters had managed to capture the ISIS military camp after 12 hours of clashes. 22 ISIS fighters who were present at the camp were killed during the clashes, while four others were captured, according to al-Shami.

A day later, Iba’a announced that HTS security forces killed and captured two fighters of ISIS who were outside the camp during the attack on it after tracking them.

Al-Shami claimed that two of ISIS fighters who were killed during the attack were responsible for a series of assassinations and crimes. Meanwhile, Syrian opposition sources revealed that the camp mainly hosted Saudi and Iraqi fighters and that a number of them even escaped from the Iraqi city of Mosul during the Iraqi military attack on it last year.

More than 100 militants were assassinated in the northern governorate of Idlib last month, according to opposition sources. HTS claims that ISIS and the Syrian intelligence were behind most of these assassinations.

Propaganda nonsense. I just don’t believe that HTS would attack ISIS i.e. they either attacked someone else (like a local militia with pro-government views) or they just shot up an olive orchard or two.

“Near the Syrian-Turkish border”, could it be a border control ($) issue ? However , your likely right, it seems much too good to be true.

It is not propaganda. Headchopper groups have been at each others throats for at least several years now. Any slight ideological differences and they’re ready to tear each other up at the drop of a hat, regardless of whether they have a “common enemy”.
