On March 1, members of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) continued their advance in the western Aleppo countryside and captured the strategic Regiment 46 military base from the Syrian Liberation Front (SLF), according to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR). The SOHR said that HTS had recaptured 17 towns and villages from the SLF during the last 24 hours.

The SOHR also said that the Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP) is participating in the ongoing attacks of HTS in northern Idlib and western Aleppo. Previously, several Syrian opposition activists claimed that the TIP is attacking the SLF. However, the HTS-linked news agency Iba’a denied all of these claims.
Meanwhile, pro-SLF sources said that HTS had begun its attack on the key city of al-Atarib northwest of the Regiment 46 military base in western Aleppo. Al-Atarib is one of the main strongholds of the SLF. If HTS captures the city, it will likely force the newly formed group to retreat all the way back to its positions around the city of Aleppo, according to observers.
The SLF is yet to take any measures to counter HTS’ advance in northern Idlib and western Aleppo. This indicates that HTS counter-attacks were a surprise for the SLF leaders, who might have thought they had won the battle.
I don’t understand if that is real or just stories.
Good question. The armaments for both sides must come via Turkey.
So HTS is still the alpha rat in the sewers? Looks like it.
Information coming from the SOHR is just as much worth as me reading the sleeping beauty to my kids. Actually, the sleeping beauty is worth more – at least everyone knows it’s a fairy tale
In fact, my children have appreciated fairy tales being read to them very much when they were younger.
Just like many commenters here enjoy fairy tales.
It’s always tit-for-tat with these terrorist groups, they just don’t get anywhere in the long-run. How people can still want to join such a bunch of infighting losers is difficult to comprehend.
I m sorry but my excuse is that I have caught the flu, but who the hell are the Syrian Liberation Front (SLF) ?.
‘The Syrian Liberation Front’ Al. All these Orwellian acronyms have a distinct NATO ring to them I think.
Thanks….another one then ?.
Are you able to access Southfront Al ? Google is blocking my access.
It hasnt been working for me yesterday too. I am guessing it was another hacker attack. Those darn Russians
just a new declared virtually heroe-jihadist-group to hide the membership of anhar-al-sham and the the childbeheaders of al-zinki
Cheers…..I cannot keep up with all the acronyms.
You can always make up your own. They will be used at some stage before SAA, Hezbollah and the Russians exterminate the lot of them
who cares? they change names so fast as diapers to a baby. All we need to know is them and then is us. If is not us, is the enemy.
SLF = milices pro.turcs erdogan!!
Ye both left out that these Groupings are “moderate terrorists” lol
A merger of Ahrar al-Sham and Nur al-Din al-Zinki.
Both groups are backed by Turkey, while HTS is Saudi-backed, mainly.
Is the merger of AAS and child headchoppers of Zenki. Zenki is so good at this they will be teaching AAS.
Every time they other Jihadis try to attack Al Nusra they end up getting clobbered. Then once they’ve had enough they meekly submit, kiss and make up and start causing problems for the SAA again. Then they get clobbered again by the SAA, Al Nusra starts looking weaking again, the other Jihadis rise up again and again get clobbered by Al Nusra. Rinse and repeat again. This is what, the umpteenth time this has happened?
That’s what common street gangs do Barba.
or SLF victory= impossibility SAA will attacked idlieb ok??
