HTS fighters in northern Lattakia
Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has confirmed that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is amassing its troops in the al-Zawiya Mount in southern Idlib.
A spokesman for the terrorist group said on June 7 that large reinforcements of the army were recently spotted in the region.
“There is no doubt that the occupation militias want all the liberated areas, including the [Turkish-occupied] areas of Peace Spring, Olive Branch and the Euphrates Shield, but they adopt the policy of division and separation to deceive people,” the spokesman, Abu Khalid al-Shami, said.
The spokesman also acknowledged that HTS has been taking advantage of the ceasefire in Greater Idlib to rebuild its military capabilities in order to repel any future attack by the SAA.
Several recent reports claimed that the SAA is preparing to launch a large operation in Greater Idlib. Nevertheless, pro-government sources are yet to confirm this.
A new operation will likely be designed to reopen the M4 highway. The strategic highway links the coastal city of Lattakia with Aleppo city, the country’s industrial hub.
Turkey has to secure the M4 under the March 5 agreement with Russia. Turkish forces have taken several steps to implement this commitment. However, terrorist groups are still in control of a large part of the highway.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a better option due to his being very tactical, smart and unpredictable. This throws enemies off balance as they will lack a direct and straight-forward way to counter him. Also, He plays a long game meaning he will start implementing policies that enemies cannot easily understand or counter but which will have long term benefits to citizens while strengthening Iran’s position.

SAA needs Russia permission to lunch an offensive since Russia doe snot want to up set Turkey.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham now will be required to chant: “Black Lives Matter!” while they are charging into battle and they also will be required to kneel, while they are charging the SAA forces.
Despite the huge challenges facing Syria , Syria still can manage fighting the Syrian who born from Turkish fathers as well as the turkish themselves. Syria can put her so called friends to the test , help or you are useless and get out. To my surprise that many stopage taken place when Syrian army moving ahead , Russia best interest with Turkey behind the stoppage and they ignore that today opportunity is rare and may not be found tomorrow. Adlib is a part of Syria and restoring it doesn’t break any international law. Too choices , either you ignore it and lose another city or go for it. Syrian people bear long years in war and so far it is not helpful for their cause. Every time your currncy goes down , you blame the citizen and the fact is external evil power is behind it. If you start again , don’t stop until the end so you can solve another problem.
HTS and other amerikan/turkey proxies must be defeated gradually so as to reduce civilian casualties and other consequences—when retreating they frequently loot, rape, kill, destroy crops. I suspect that 2-3 years will be required to rid Syria of the turk/US imperialists and their jihadi proxies–perhaps more time will be required to topple the turkey puppets–GNA
How is HTS rebuilding it’s military capabilities, they don’t have access to funds, they don’t have access to new military equipments, and they don’t have any friends left, that’s if Turkey’s really abandoning them as part of the M4 deal with Russia, but the photo above says they aren’t. In all the years I’ve seen photos of HTS fighters they’ve never looked like they do in this photo, they’re all wearing standard issue uniforms and boots and all have new assault rifles [kalashnikov maybe], they could nearly pass as standard army troops if the took their masks off, usually they just look like a band of hobo’s, and they usually use any weapon they can lay their hands on, rifles, shotguns, slingshots, but not anymore it seems. You can dress up a pig and put lipstick on it but it’s still just a pig, so I wonder if the same principal applies to these guy’s. HTS is slowly but steadily replacing the [supposedly] legitimate Turkish backed opposition government with their own independent [but internationally unrecognized and illegitimate] government in a lot of the areas that Turkey controls, and Turkey can’t stop them, the internationally recognized and supposedly legitimate opposition government that Turkey actually supports is letting them do it, so Erdogan’s getting stabbed in the back by his own people, LOL, it’s good to see him getting a dose of the same medicine he usually dishes out to others. The Free Syrian Army [FSA] are supposed to be fighting for the legitimate opposition government that Turkey supports, but at the same time they’re officially members of HTS’s salvation government, so how does that work out, they’re members of the illegitimate HTS salvation government but at the same time they’re soldiers for the legitimate Turkish backed opposition government, isn’t that a conflict of interests, LOL, it sure is, so much for the Astana agreement number 16, it’s proven to be as useful as the first 15 were. If the officially recognized Interim Syrian opposition government that Turkey officially supports is willingly letting the Salvation government [HTS] replace them in a lot of the areas that Turkey controls, they’re actually breaking the rules of UN resolution 2254, the very same rules the Astana agreement is supposed to help implement, and those rules say the Turkish backed officially recognized Interim government has to separate itself from the designated terrorist groups, and yet here they are actually stepping aside and letting HTS take over the officially recognized opposition government itself, LOL, you don’t need any shots fired to break the ceasefire, the rules alone are enough, and thos rules are about as abused as they can be now.
