Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham Continues To Grow In Northwestern Syria

Fighters of HTS during a previous attack on the SLF in the western Aleppo countryside

Abu al-Khatab al-Shami, a military official in Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), told the Iba’a news network on December 19 that more than 150 fighters from several groups have joined the ranks of the HTS in order to “unify the efforts” against any attack of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) on the opposition-held area in northwestern Syria.

“We call on all of our brothers in the other factions to unify, merge, reinforce our ranks and to abandon disagreements and dispersion and to join the ranks of the real Mujahedeen,” the new fighters of HTS said in an official statement.

HTS was formed by the Al-Nusra Front, the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, and several other Turkish and US-backed groups in late 2017. Today, the radical group controls most of the Syrian governorate of Idlib and several key areas around it, like the Turkman mount in northern Lattakia, the Ghab Plains in northwestern Hama and several districts west of the city of Aleppo.

The group has been taken advantage of the Russian-Turkish demilitarized zone agreement, which was reached in mid-September, to expand its influence in the opposition-held area. So far, HTS has assassinated several opposition figures, arrested hundreds of civilians who voiced their support for the reconciliation process and attacked areas held by other armed groups. All of this under the watchful eyes of Turkey.

Is so funny and incredibly amazing that, Hts can actually believe that they can win this WAR . No countries in the world has ever tough this. Because if you attach Russia you will wish you wouldn’t…. simply nobody dose that is suicidal.. Not even China or USA.. and this (((HTS)):-) Can actually believe that they can defeat Russia , well boys (..hts…) you just put yourself in to a ride that you had wish not to…. someone please give them some paper (( to hts)) because they will need a lot…. Don’t you wish to be whit your wife in bed or girlfriend ??? Or whit your kids playing?? Why are you killing innocent people? For a God which you have never see it. That it gives you power?? No good God ,will ever put you to kill people for him. That’s pure Satanist

Same crap again and again.

Russia dont run the whole world as well. I dont like those at all too.

More like Pinocchio, where the wooden boy never will be a real one, and the girls and women are in that scenario like there too as dead objects.

You ceratainly are anti heroes of the worst kind.

Andrei

Nobody absolutely nobody rules the world if American think that,, well they are the most stupid

Haha this is too funny.

How many years russia badgered USA/NATO to seperate hts from “moderate” terrorist.

What i take from this article and generally how things apprear in the “Idlib” zone is : the terrorists are seperating themselves!!! From Russia’s point of view this would be great!!

Although our shyster media in the west will call them moderate rebels once the SAA comes to kill them.

Things will happen soon, i just truly hope no more false flag attacks to give nato a casus belli again.

WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT WAR!!! If Trump really succedes in this pullout ( LOL) , he will have fulfilled his main election promise. Remember during the late stage of the 2016 election how hillary was howling for war in Syria, some no fly zone nonsense ?!! Thats why trump won.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Growing by 150, that means the estimated 15,000 HTS fighters has just grown to 15,150 fighters, wow, will the SAA be able to handle it, they only have 100,000 SAA stationed around Idlib, it might not be enough to cope with the new HTS reinforcements, well I suppose since the SAA also has another spare 50,000 soldiers elsewhere, they should be able to cope. It’s not the number of HTS fighters that’s relevant, it’s the areas they now operate in and also ‘now’ occupy that are really relevant, they’re the areas the SAA will end up occupying once the SAA move into Idlib. Reports say 15,000 HTS, I say at least 20,000, maybe even more, but that doesn’t matter, this will just be another cakewalk for the SAA [a repeat of Darra/Quneitra], it’ll all be done and dusted within a month after starting.
