Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham Leaders Are Selling Their Property In Idlib Ahead Of Syrian Army Attack – Report

Illustrative image

Several leaders of the former branch of al-Qaeda in Syria, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), began selling their properties in the northern governorate of Idlib ahead of a long-awaited attack of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies, the al-Modon news outlet reported on September 6.

“Leaders and princes of Hay’at [HTS] began selling their property – restaurants, farms and commercial markets – fearing any battle or an unexpected scenario that may lead to the expulsion of Hay’at from Idlib… The most prominent leaders of Hay’at offered their property for sale secretly. So, they don’t spread panic among their supporters,” a source familiar with the situation told the Lebanese news outlet.

According to the source, “Abu Malik al-Tali,” a prominent leader of HTS, sold a shopping mall, which he had owned in the city of Idlib, while the infamous “Abu Maria al-Qahtani” sold several restaurants in the northern Idlib countryside. Many low ranking commanders of the radical group are also selling their property.

Several previous reports had predicted that the upcoming attack of the SAA and its allies on the opposition-held areas in northwestern Syria will mark the end of HTS, especially that Turkey added the radical group to its torero list only few days ago.

They know the end is coming.This is example of “rats leaving the sinking ship first”.Idlib is basically a sinking ship.There is no future for HTS in Syria.

jo

Who the hell buying something in idlib :)))

Bill Wilson

I’m sure it’s people with connections in Damascus.

Bob

Plundering and looting rats fleeing their sinking ship. When SAA campaign in Idlib happens the loudmouth Saudi clerics and commanders will have long fled to safety.

Army of conquest

Fot the first time German Chancellor Angela Merkel has expressed support for a Russian and Syrian military operation in Syria: “We must now try to fight these radical forces but protect the civilian population”. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/07aa5e8f8d44d9751a7cc7933ee5053ac9d4fc4d2a32ee96300f0e453ecb77a3.jpg

frankly

Ok, no msm in my place who the fuck is this guy?

FlorianGeyer

The ‘thousand dollar’ question is of course, who did the US backed thugs steal their property from ? This the reality of the grip the terror gangs have had in Idlib and elsewhere.

We are looking at common criminals who have sought to create a Mafia style statelet in Idlib to emulate the Mafia style countries of the USA and Israel, to name but two.

Empire's Frontiers

I was scrolling down to make this very remark.

FlorianGeyer

I will gladly share it with you and anyone else my friend.

Army of conquest

I can name some more: france, italy, belgium, Albania, Oman, saudi Arabia, UK, Croatia, Netherlands, Turkey and many more!??

FlorianGeyer

All the members of the US Coalition of Terror in fact :)

FlorianGeyer

The UK used the same method to control the Gulf States as was used by the Kings and Queens of Medieval England.

The UK installed favoured War Lords in the Gulf States , Saudi Arabia and Iran. It is only Iran that has succeeded to cast of the yoke of British control.

OUTRUN EUROPA

I dont know what is Oman it just sits there and does nothing like rob the robot https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/a20510776c0a8c40da1f2d5c626ab6205eb69bdf657220a4b73f43cb89e8a3d1.jpg , creepy.

FlorianGeyer

It was in the 70’s I think that the UK used Sultan Qaboos to overthrow his father in Oman . The SAS were involved in an operation for months to clear the Adoo ( enemy) from a plateau surrounded by high cliffs.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Oman is mediating between Saudi Arabia & Iran.

Sinbad2

BP, was once called the Anglo Iranian oil company, Winston Churchill was heavily involved. I have heard that BP still lists Iranian oil as an asset of BP?

Empire's Frontiers

And it yet became gripped by a paranoid theocracy not quite compatible with Persian culture.

Much like the legal system in the US, the process is the punishment no matter what the eventual sentence. Free from British control, however yet hobbled by the encounter.

As I understand the times, the friction and strife drummed up by not only western designs lead to a decades long bloodletting of the Iranian intellectual class, and while the Islamic revolution is unfriendly to the west, it’s not exactly given birth to the modern state we might expect from a rather developed, educated nation with a continuous history spanning millennia.

DaBoiiiii

I don’t understand how it is paranoid. The Isalamic Revolution has been facing an existential threat since it’s foundation I also don’t understand what more you could expect of a state that has been attacked since it’s birth with war and sanctions and assassinations.

And while it may not be compatible with Persian culture, it is compatible with many of the Persians themselves, as they are not the same as they once were. Times, and people, change. And many, I would say the majority, have changed.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Well said. We have to forgive him, he does not know what nonsense he is polluting the discussion with.

Empire's Frontiers

You described in your second sentence why it’s paranoid.

And the Iranian people suffer at this paranoia.

Ronald

“A lot of good Persians – in the way were dead and buried BY the WEST”. MEK comes to mind, that the US is funding again. Much of Iran’s “human capitol”, removed themselves, the well heeled, are in France and California. They will return as things mellow out.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Oman “gripped by a paranoid theocracy”? Really? What do you base that on?

As for Iran, it is a religious democracy which has achieved a lot more in the last 40 years than the US in the past 200 years. The Iranian revolution is NOT unfriendly to the west, it is unfriendly to that vile, sickening empire-in-decline which engineering the overhrow of a democratically government and the installation of a puppet regime.

Empire's Frontiers

You didn’t type anything but a circle that went back to where you started.

Sounds like you got upset reading the truth.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Sorry about bringing in Oman, you did not say anything about the country.

No, I did not get upset about Iran when facts are presented. I only get upset when ‘alternative’ facts are presented, or when BS is presented.

With your reply you are confirming my statement: you have not explained what your “paranoid theocracy” claim is based on, nor have you explained the basis for the unfriendliness to the West.

So, many thanks for confirming my statement about your comment. Keep up the good work.

Empire's Frontiers

Others around here seem to grasp my remarks.

Since you could use the help, my observation of the paranoid theocracy is that after decades of external machinations the Islamic revolution has come to oppress the Persian peoples.

If a truly Iranian secular revolution arose, even if it were academic in nature, it would be attacked and extinguished by the paranoid Islamists as though it was a western plot.

That’s then the other part of my initial remarks, that simply tangling with the west and exhausting Iran’s human capital, so to speak, has been badkt damaging to Persian culture and Asian advancement.

There wasn’t, as I understand the times, room for an Islamic revolution in Iran until a lot of good Persians standing in the way were dead and buried by the west, and inflated internal adversity.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

“Oppress the Persian peoples”? I seem to remember that they have open, honest and fair elections – Rouhani got elected and re-elected.

It is not Iran tangling with the West, it is Iran trying to survive the onslaught of the vile US and its despicable, genocidal ZioNazi master. The “tangling”, as you call it, had stopped with Iran having been certified to have stuck rigorously to its side of the bargain. But your idolised vile US and its despicable, genocidal ZioNazi master were not happy so the psychopaths in Washington and Jerusalem decided to pull the plug on the best ever anti-nuclear deal. Well kiddo, I for one sincerely hope Iran manages to get a nuclear arsenal as a deterrent against both those deranged parties. North Korea proved it can be done.

As for people dying in the revolution, please be so kind to show me a real revolution where no people died.

Empire's Frontiers

You’re only arguing with yourself and reality.

I’m only standing here.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

I understand: having run out of nonsense you pretend to take the high ground when in reality your BS has let you down.

Let me give you a friendly hint: selling BS may work with some but eventually shows itself for what it is, i.e filthy crap. So long, cowboy.

Empire's Frontiers

The guy I responded to didn’t dispute my remarks.

And I’m not arguing with you, I simply clarified my initial comment while you’ve gone on rambling about 20 things using language straight from InfoWars.

That’s what’s visible on this board.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Like I said, you are just spewing nonsense for want of good, solid, fact-based arguments, and thus dress it up as “clarification” combined with the misplaced hubris.

Keep dreaming cowboy, one day you might see the light. Till then, best to return under your rock.

Empire's Frontiers

Still mad, I see.

Ronald

Empire’s Frontiers calls Iran a “paranoid theocracy”, and you “a religious democracy” , you are both correct.

The CIA pulled a coup on Iran’s elected government and installed the Shah. The revolution yielded the Shia priesthood in control, and they have very good reasons to be fearful. But Iran is successful, yes there is a degree of oppression because the priesthood came to power as a reaction.

The one excellent thing the Shah did, was to educate the common people.

No Islamic nation had done that before. Iran is an explosion off knowledge pouring into the Islamic world..

That is why the Saudi and other Gulf states are terrified, keen to stamp it out. The Sunni – Shia split is secondary. Moving from the pre-industrial age into the 21st century is a big jump, but Iran has shown that it can be done. To the Sunni dictatorships, the idea that commoners would have money and any say in government threatens their “divine right of kings”. The 20 million wealthy Iranians in Europe and California will move some of their funds back home as the theocracy becomes less and less hard line.

Persia will rise again.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

I agree with but want to make 1 little addition/clarification. Yes the shah educated the common people, but that has certainly continued under the Ayatollahs.

Ronald

Absolutely, now Iran has a higher literacy rate than the US, and has more engineering graduates than them as well.

What scares the US and Israel, is Iran is Muslim, educated, and Caucasian.

Presently it is the only form of Islam that actually works, other than Lebanon and Syria.

Malaysia and Turkey are the only Sunni nations that come close.

Malaysia only because the Chinese population keep the place functional. Turkey is moving backwards towards the Wahhabi ideology under Erdogan.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Lebanon does not work because of incessant ZioNazi/US interference aimed at destroying the country.

Syria was working very well: a secular, well-educated society, like Libya. As with Libya there is 1 problem: the leader refuses to conform to Washington (= Jerusalem) dictate, and that is just not acceptable.

So, like Libya, Syria was attacked by that same ZioNazi/US psychopathic tandem interfered. Unfortunately for them Russia got involved and destroyed their plans and turned the situation around.

FlorianGeyer

What you say is correct but the brutal reign of the Shah caused the unrest that bought the change we see today.

I would think that the political situation in Iran would have now been far milder today if the FUKUS states + Israel had not deliberately created tension with Iran for many decades .

Empire's Frontiers

Indeed it would’ve been.

Sinbad2

Qatar is another country that has changed sides. The US is losing more than just Syria.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

The Syrian war has made others like Qatar & Turkey realise that Iran is not the monster the vile empire-in-decline has tried so hard to make it look.

zman

I shouldn’t be so sure about Turkey. If Putin didn’t have Erdos balls in his hand, the situation would look quite different.

#'~A*QXm(>NRmm]w?dU4v!=^

Ah, but he does, so “if” and “would” are off the table, for now.

zman

For now…Does anyone really know which way a snake will slither?

frankly

Better looking though, snark!

You may not have seen this.

From the left of the naked pic. Angela Merkel, the current leader of Lithuania and Theresa May. Circa late 70’s taken in East Germany on the Baltic. I also have a saved photo of the same 3 girls taken in East Germany ,New Years Eve 1971/72 but the link no longer has the photo, only the description.

Here is a collage of Theresa May from childhood to now. There is a pic of her there that matches the naked pic.

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=theresa+mays+childhood&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=TIUl6WdHOUE2aM%253A%252C5LOgqs2GNYG9HM%252C_&usg=__lLu8a424NzYcJifq_1S2U7TNlZo%3D&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjolfDxq73aAhVbF8AKHZqwDe4Q9QEIgAEwDg#imgdii=6leB-E2Sbs1J8M:&imgrc=DPCsQSN6piAk6M:

frankly

Is this a typical picture from the time and place? That sure looks like Merkel, sly grin and all. We make too big a deal of nudity.

FlorianGeyer

Nudity in Germany has always been popular since the 19th century I think.

frankly

So what’s May up to then. Yeah they all seem a little uncomfortable with the camera but very comfortable otherwise. It seems a healthier way than being ashamed of our bodies unless it meets some Hollywood standard. Kinda like beating up yourself for not being a football star.

FlorianGeyer

The odd thing is that the Communist GDR ( German Democratic Republic) was in full control in the 70’s and visiting the GDR required a visa. Mays father was a priest and all I can think of is that there was some sort of International Friendship Group BUT officially the GDR was atheist, so I find it all very odd. Especially the fact that all three girls are heads of state now.

Were all the members of the larger group being groomed for leadership rolls ? Some would make it and some not.Its a puzzle and when you see the ‘girls’ together now there is not a hint of their past intimate friendship.

Why ?

frankly

Never did track down that photo you mentioned of May in the collage. But assuming you were correct I had all the same thoughts about what originally brought them together that way. Definitely an odd shot. Merkel has such a cute face sometimes. I like her and Putin together. It’s kind of odd how he tortures her with his dog though? She bringing him beer when he supposedly does not drink? Just more sideshow distractions?

Sinbad2

Whatever that guy has shoved up his ar**, it seems to be hurting.

zman

Why does that guy remind me of Cesar on The Planet of the Apes?

Sinbad2

“You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.” Al Capone.

Yes indeed, an offer that cannot be refused :)

Feudalism Victory

Hah! A nice list of their supporters with a lot to lose after the war? Follow the money.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

bye bye HTS :)))

I bet the reason is a hard story to sell. What do they tell their fellow underlings, ” oh don’t worry about that fellers I’m selling my shopping mall because it’s a seller’s market. It always is before invading Army come. I’m just as committed to this war as you are, we going to win it. Got to go property guys keep up the good fight.” Did the terrorists that got sent to Idlib from Southern Syria not know this was coming?

Thunder

ya thats best ..cause ur all gonna die if u try and fight, make up ur fckn wills too occultist proxy army!!

Jason Sixx

I have been waiting for this moment since 2015 when they admittedly had proud syrian soldiers on the run in idlib mountains and the al ghab plain. This IS revenge for the jisr shigour hospital massacre!!!! KILL every last one of Them, no prisoners no any more relocations!!! They should try occupy the north with turkey first if militarily feasible so they dont escape there and then create some debaltsevo cauldron and annihilate every last one of them. If only no civilians!!! Then they would be carpet bombed and we would see a whole battleground filled with rat corpses!!! Ofc the western media will frame that as a genocide, then again no one will be there to report it in case of a carpet bomb run or a foab or two ???

frankly

I am trying to picture closing on a commercial property in a war zone. Yeah the down payment is 5 used tanks and those 44 children we kidnaped. Yeah, yeah they are still virgins. Would I lie to you?

Luke Hemmming

I heard they plan to rename the shopping mall to ‘Idlib Chopping Mall’ mwahahaha lol oh god I crack myself up.

frankly

Oh good you brought the 20% off coupon.

Sinbad2

These guys have real American values, money before all else. Quite a few French Aristocrats got the chop, because they had to protect their wealth. Quite a few Jews chose to get their money to safety rather than themselves, or their families during WWII.

Maybe I’m weird, but I just can’t understand that kind of thinking.

Bill Wilson

They’re leaders because they have common sense. They own property due to being leaders. They have enough sense to realize that they won’t be leading anything before long so have the common sense to sell off their property as long there’s someone willing to buy it. I’m sure that the buyers have connections with the government in Damascus since they can ensure a smooth transaction thru the Syrian central bank which can wire the proceeds out of the country. I wouldn’t be surprised if the SAA, Russians and Turks have promised safe passage for these cashing-out leaders to leave their militant units without central leadership.

Feudalism Victory

Nice to see some people have a working sense of cynicism

FleshGoredon

‘THEIR PROPERTY’

That’s somewhat rich.

Bill Wilson

They probably got offers too good to refuse straight from Damascus. Got reasonable offers with the transactions being done thru the Syrian central bank with the proceeds being wired to another country’s bank. If Assad, Russia and Turkey are as slick as the US then they’d include safe passage out of the region.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

who is buying them?
