Al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) is reportedly reinforcing its remaining positions in the northern Lattakia countryside taking advantage of the current ceasefire.
“HTS deployed reinforcements in its positions on the axis of Kabani in the Kurd mountain in the northern Lattakia countryside in the last 48 hours,” The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said in a report on September 20.
According to the UK-based monitoring group, the terrorist group has deployed additional infantry units, battle tanks and armored vehicles near the strategic town of Kabani.
The opposition-held part of northern Lattakia is a part of Idlib’s demilitarized zone. HTS and other terrorist group were supposed to withdraw from the region under the Sochi agreement.
The SOHR claims that the deployment of the reinforcements was a defensive measure by HTS. However, the terrorist group and its allies could be planning to launch a ground attack similar to the 2013 offensive, in which more than 190 civilians were massacred.
More targets for Syrian and Russian bombs.
the largest the groups, the less bombs needed to eliminate them
It is estimated by Southfront that 60,000 terrorists are still at large in Idlib. If Hay’at Tahrir al-Shit think they can hold back a few hundred thousand Syrian soldiers, they are more romantic than i first thought.
Very soon they will all meet lots of virgins. Gotta catch them all!
More targets for SAAF and RuAF………….
Kabani will be liberated sooner or later. Wahhabi head choppers will be eliminated. SAA is yet to start serious operation against dirty imbeciles and pigs there.
“HTS deployed reinforcements in its positions on the axis of Kabani in the Kurd mountain in the northern Latakia countryside in the last 48 hours”. LOL reinforcements, and where did they get them from, from the herds of refugees fleeing north into Turkey that’s where. And aren’t they going to make great fighters for HTS, they were conscripted into HTS as they were actually fleeing the conflict in the first place, and now HTS drags them back to the front lines and tells them to fight to the death, LOL, I know what most of these new reinforcement are going to do at the first sign of battle, turn and run like they wanted to in the first place, LOL. HTS only as between 10 to 15,000 fighters at most and they’re supposed to control 65% of Idlib, where the hell could they find reinforcements to send to Latakia, they’re already spread thinner than a slip of butter on a thick piece of toast and can barely spare a spare dog to send to Latakia, so I can only assume it’s some of those conscripted refugees that are now the reinforcements for HTS in Latakia. So fight to the death, try to flee, or turn on HTS, those will be the 3 options for the new conscripted reinforcements, and hopefully they’ll take the last option, LOL.
Reinforces from Turkey, like their food, arms and instructions, then again it could be via the CIA.
I’m afraid contrary to most other people’s opinions, I’m one of the very few people who now sincerely believe that since some time before June last year, Trump has for whatever reason unknown to me [perhaps Putin convinced him, perhaps it was the Arab league, and perhaps both], decided it’s actually in the US’s best interests to let Assad remain in power in Syria. And even though I won’t argue the fact that there is perhaps some covert meddling going on by some members of the US administration in Syria, I don’t think Trump himself is involved in any way shape or form, at least in anything designed to harm Assad, in fact I think Trump’s doing just the opposite if anything. Trump did meddle in Idlib by bombing 40 terrorist leaders right when there was a very important ceasefire in progress, and he also meddled in Idlib when he offered 15 mill for 3 terrorist leaders, that also just so happened to be among the most vocal anti reconciliation process terrorists of all [anti Assad], and as much as there were many reasons offered for the real purpose the US did it, I can only see that type of meddling as being beneficial to Assad, not harmful. So you may be right about the CIA still assisting the rebels/terrorists in some way or another, but I’m not seeing it materialize as anything harmful to Assad atm and hopefully it won’t, The SAA and Assad don’t need any more setbacks now, cheers.
