On November 1, al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) captured the headquarters of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (NSA) in the western Aleppo countryside.

A task force of the terrorist group stormed the headquarters, that is located in the town of Darat Izza, in the afternoon. Turkish-backed militants were expelled from the headquarters without a firefight. No one was reportedly injured.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, HTS forces also besieged a commander post of the SNA in western Aleppo.

Thousands of SNA militants were deployed in Greater Idlib in the last two years to support HTS against the Syrian Arab Army and its allies.

The SNA was formed in 2017 by several Aleppo-based factions with a direct support from Turkey. The coalition is today regarded as Ankara’s main proxy force in Syria. Militants of the SNA are currently fighting to further Turkish interests in Libya and Azerbaijan.

The motives behind HTS’ move against the SNA remain unclear. The terrorist group does not hesitate to use force against any faction that dares to challenge its influence in Greater Idlib.

Remain unclear, that means SF don’t read any of my posts, if they did they could tell you the real reason HTS is attacking Turkish backed Syrian Interim Government fighters and taking over the headquarters of the whole group, which is reported to have 80 to 100,000 fighters. LOL they don’t even have half that many, Erdogan’s just clever with adding numbers. Resolution 2254 is starting to look a little shakier as Turkey keeps losing more territory, HTS is not only going to get a lot richer from the extra taxes they make, they’ll also get more food/money/medicine for refugees, stronger political influence both domestically and internationally, and if worst comes to worst, some Arab SNA and NFL may even start defecting to HTS, and take all their new Turkish weapons, vehicles, and equipment with them. :] Go Assad, keep doing what you’re doing, Russia may be doing deals with Turkey and the moderate opposition to come to a settlement but that hasn’t worked, so you just keep dealing with those nasty HTS terrorists the way you have been, it’s working out perfectly, you don’t need Russia to help you kick Turkey out, HTS will do it for you. :] Assad does deals with HTS the terrorists and Russia does deals with Turkey and it’s moderate opposition, but HTS is abiding by a ceasefire that they’re not included in, and the moderate opposition are acting more like terrorists and constantly breaking the ceasefire [that Putin and Erdogan tried to force on them], so who’s actually smarter, Putin or Assad?

Assad must stay

we will see if HTS keeps kicking the torkis out or not, personally I wish the rats just kill each other off lol

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Personally I wish they’d just kill each other off too, but if they don’t I’ll settle for Assad’s number 2 option plan, get Turkey out first and then deal with HTS later.

Assad must stay

Yes sure

Jihadi Colin

Willing Conscience is right, the so called Hayyat Tahrir al Sham (al Qaeda, current fake name) is observing the ceasefire better than the so called moderate headchoppers.

Антон С

Good. Pro-turkish boys should response to HTS as harsh as possible. Keep on, guys, till the end!
