Heavy Clashes in Northerh Hama as Govt Force Advancing on Terorrists' Positions

On October 11, the Syrian army’s Tiger Forces reportedly entered and seized  the vilalge of Kobab in the northern part of Hama province. The village had been controlled by the Jund Al-Aqsa terrorist group.

On October 10, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) were pushed to withdraw from the recently liberated town of Ma’an, north of Kobab. Pro-government sources claim that it was a ‘tactical retreat’. Nonetheless, Jaish al-Nasr commander, Bassam Abo Duraid,  was killed in the clashes with the Syrian Army in Ma’an.

The control of al-Kubariyah remains unclear because the both sides (militants and the army) claim that they are in control of the village. (UPD: The village is under control of the pro-government forces)

According to pro-militant sources claim that at least 3 Syrian army fighters have been killed and a T-27 battle tank destroyed since today morning.

A pro-militant map depicts the alleged military situation in the province on October 10 evening (red circles by SF):

There really is WW2 equipment in use – or how could they destroy a T-27 tank?
