On February 25, Hezbollah launched three attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from its heartland, southern Lebanon.
In two separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli troops at the Ramim barracks with rockets and fired two Falaq heavy rockets at the Zabdin barracks. In another statement, the group announced that it shelled several gatherings and artillery positions of the IDF near the settlement of Kiryat Shmona.
The attacks were carried out “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted in its three statements.
The IDF confirmed that at least four rockets were launched from southern Lebanon at the Galilee Panhandle, but said that they all landed in open areas. Sirens had sounded in Kiryat Shmona and several nearby settlements.
Separately, Hezbollah mourned three of its fighters during the day. In three separate statements, the group said the fighters were killed “on the road to Jerusalem,” a phrase usually used to refer to those killed in the ongoing confrontation with the IDF.
The fighters may have been killed in an alleged Israeli strike that targeted a truck near the western Syrian town of al-Qusayr, which is located close to the border with Lebanon. Syria’s pro-government Al-Watan newspaper said that three were killed in the strike.
Hezbollah and its allies have been launching attacks from southern Lebanon against the IDF since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
As of February 25, the clashes on the border have resulted in six civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least ten IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 300 people have been killed, including 202 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 40 civilians.
“the settlement of kiryat shmona has been attacked from lebanon numerous times to the point where the mayor of the settlement has said that hezbollah is accelerating the pace of its operations and that it is dangerous for the settlers to remain in the city and the remaining residents must leave.”

ayatollah khamenei: “the so-called western liberal democracy is neither liberal nor democratic.”
– the only true arab leaders who dare to say this are sayyed hasan nasrallah and sayyed al-houthi. the rest are all too scared to ever say a single word, just a word, let alone actions. their strength only showed when it is about bombing yemenis and syrians, hypocrites.
fun fact, only hezbollah and houthis attacking zionists… shia arab groups that iran support… he isn’t wrong.
i said this before, the sdf and free syrian army supporting “israel”/zionists openly now… turkey and jordan still trading with zionists. the us, uk, france, germany, western block fully supporting this genocide in gaza.
hmmm when a real fight start none of these clown support it… don’t get me wrong 90% of time i’m talking the government of these countries not the people (just to be clear).
yep, as an arab i totally agree that most arab governments are soldout traitors.
