Hezbollah launched several suicide drones at base of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on August 10 response to an Israeli strike that killed a commander of the Hamas Movement in Lebanon a day earlier.

The drone attack targeted the Michve Alon base near the settlement of Maghar, which the group claimed was used by the IDF as a staging ground and as a munitions depot.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that it launched drone “squadrons” at Israel in response to the August 10 “Zionist strike” in the Lebanese southern port city of Sidon that killed Samer al-Hajj, who commanded Hamas military forces in the nearby Ein el-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp.

Later, the IDF confirmed that several suicide drones were launched in the Hezbollah attack, which set off air raid sirens in several settlements. One of the drones was intercepted by air defenses, while the others impacted areas in northern Israel, causing damage, according to the military. There were no casualties, however.

The attack was one of at least ten carried out by Hezbollah on August 10, including another attack with suicide drones that targeted a gathering of Israeli troops in the Berkat Richa border site and a rocket attack that targeted the settlement of Elon.

In separate statements, the group said that these attacks were carried out in support of the Gaza Strip and as a response to recent Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon.

From its side, the IDF said that it carried out a series of airstrikes in southern Lebanon on August 10, targeting Hezbollah sites and fighters.

According to the military, the targets included a Hezbollah fighter spotted entering a building in the town of Tayr Harfa; rocket launchers in the towns of Houla and Qalaat Debba; a drone primed for launch and a fighter of Hezbollah’s aerial forces in an undisclosed area; and buildings used by Hezbollah and weapons depots in the towns of Hanine, Ayta ash-Shab, Khiam and Blida.

The latest attacks came as Israel is preparing for a possible response by Hezbollah to the assassination of the group’s senior commander Fuad Shukr in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, last month.

Hezbollah and its allies in Lebanon have been launching attacks against the IDF in support of Hamas and other factions in Gaza since the start of the Israeli war on the Strip last October.

So far, the confrontation has resulted in 26 civilian deaths in Israel and the occupied Golan as well as the deaths of at least 18 soldiers and security officers. On the Lebanese side, more than 600 people have been killed, including 384 fighters of Hezbollah and over 100 civilians.

i’m not so sure. the main thing is that the war continues indefinitely, talmudistan and the jewnited snakes and their eu whores need quick and easy victories, just like the nazis. 11 months and counting. they can’t handle that. the cost to them is rising all the time. casualties, economic, financial and diplomatic costs, red sea closure, 2 and a half years of ukraine war. it is all linked. the zio regime and its backers are visibly failing. they are all global pariahs.
