Hezbollah launched at least 22 attacks from southern Lebanon on November 23, targeting gatherings and sites of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
In separate statements, the group said that its fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli troops and equipment near the military sites and settlements of al-Dhahira, Jal al-Alam, Sa’sa’, al-Raheb, Tal Sha’ar, al-Manara, Harsh Ramim, al-Marj, Birkat Risha, Zarit, Hadab al-Bustan, Birkat Risha and Yiftah.
The military sites of Barakat Risha, Ruwaisat al-Alam, Ramya, Jal al-Alam and al-Malikiyah were also shelled, according to the group, which said that another indirect fire attack targeted the Khirbet Maar site and nearby artillery positions of the IDF.
In addition, Hezbollah fighters targeted a main battle tank of the IDF with an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) near al-Raheb military site. They later targeted an infantry force that approached the damaged tank using a similar weapon.
The fighters also fired 48 rockets at the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Brigade of the IDF’s 91st Division near the settlement of Ein Zeitim. Some of the rockets were intercepted by Israeli air defenses.
In another attack, a house in al-Manara settlement where four soldiers of the IDF were situated was targeted with “special” ATGMs. Hezbollah said that the house was fully destroyed and the four soldiers were all killed in the attack.

Hezbollah said that the attacks were carried out “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance.”
In response to the attacks, the IDF said its fighter jets, drones and tanks struck several targets of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, including the launcher used to target Ein Zeitim headquarters.
Lebanese media reported dozens of Israeli artillery strikes on different parts of southern Lebanon. While there were no civilian casualties, Hezbollah said that two of its fighters were killed “on the road of Jerusalem”.
The escalation on the Lebanese front came a day after an Israeli strike killed five fighters of Hezbollah, including the son of one of the group’s senior officials.
Hezbollah and its allies have had near-daily exchanges of fire with the IDF along the Israeli-Lebanese border since the October 7 Hamas-led surprise attack from Gaza.
As of November 23, the clashes on the Lebanese front have claimed the lives of six IDF troops, three Israeli civilians, 84 fighters of Hezbollah, two fighters from the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, one fighter from the Lebanese Resistance Regiments, seven fighters from the Hamas Movement, four fighters from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and 12 Lebanese civilians.
It is still unclear if the temporary ceasefire in Gaza agreed upon by Israel and Hamas, which will start on November 4 morning, will be expanded to include the Lebanese front.

people say constantly ukraine has lost 500,000 men dead. thats absurd!!!! nowhere near those numbers.
russia claims themselves that in november, one of the deadliest months of fighting, 19,000 ukraines were killed.
so if 19,000 died each month (which havent) that would mean 400,000 dead so far. no where near that yet.
