AlMasdarNews reports: Hezbollah has recently stepped up their military operations along the Lebanese-Syrian border after a six month long hiatus due to their large-scale offensive in the Aleppo Governorate.
Over the course of 72 hours, Hezbollah has carried out several attacks against the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) and Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) in the Qalamoun Mountains that stretch across western Syrian and eastern Lebanon.
On Monday, Hezbollah struck several sites that are under the control of Jabhat Al-Nusra in the Tufayl region of the Beqa’a Valley, resulting in the death of several jihadist rebels near the Syrian border.
In addition to their assault in the Beqa’a Valley, Hezbollah also targeted Jabhat Al-Nusra’s positions in the Jaroud Faleeta region of the Qalamoun Mountains. According to Hezbollah’s official media wing, their units targeted Jabhat Al-Nusra’s defenses with several guided missiles at the Jaroud Faleeta border-crossing.
Hezbollah is likely preparing for another large-scale offensive in the Qalamoun Mountains, as they look to clear the final hilltops that overlook the Lebanese border-crossing in Jaroud Qarah.
Israel is mad now, cause they are taking out Israels allies. -lol
