Hezbollah fighters have ambushed a group of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham terrorists on the outskirts of the town of Arsal in northeastern Lebanon.

A group of Jabhat Fateh al-Sham terrorists were ambushed by Hezbollah fighters on the outskirts of the town of Arsal in northeastern Lebanon on Friday, the Lebanese resistance movement’s War Media Center reported. As result, a number of terrorists were killed or wounded.
At least one terrorist was killed, while several others were wounded during the attack, the Al-Manar TV channel reported.
A short video, showing fighters, who targeted and hit a barren area with mortar bombs and a rocket, was released by the center.
Also on Friday, it was reported that a man, suspected of being a leader of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group in Lebanon, was arrested by the Lebanon’s army near the northern border of the town of Wadi Khaled.
Lebanese state media also reported that two men, accused of manufacturing and detonating bombs, were arrested by the Army’s intelligence in northern Lebanon.
Lebanon has been started to be affected by spillover of foreign-backed terrorist groups that have been congesting Syria since 2011. Ever since, Lebanese border areas have come under intermittent attacks by the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (previously known as the al-Nusra Front), the Islamic State (IS) and other terrorist groups.
Hezbollah fighters have repelled several IS attacks inside Lebanon. They also have been providing assistance to the Syrian Armed Forces in neighboring Syria. The movement accuses Israel of supporting terrorists, operating in the Middle East.
Earlier, it was reported that Israel is offering a medical help to terrorists, wounded in Syria. In December 2015, the Daily Mail newspaper reported that Israel had saved lives of more than 2,000 terrorists since 2013.
