On February 18, Hezbollah targeted several Israeli settlements and sites of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) near the border with Lebanon.
In four separate statements, Hezbollah said its fighters targeted gatherings of Israeli troops at the al-Tulaihat Triangle, al-Baghdadi as well as in the settlements of Evin and Shumira. In another statement, the group announced that it had struck a building occupied by troops in the settlement of Yaroun.
The group also announced in three more statements that it had fired a Burkan heavy rocket at the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site and targeted the site of al-Samaqa with two salvos of rockets.
The attacks were carried out “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted its statements.
In the morning, the IDF said that it carried out airstrikes against Hezbollah positions in the southern Lebanese town of Yaroun.
Israeli troops also shelled areas in the towns of Alma al-Shaab and Dhayra with artillery to “remove threats,” according to the IDF.
Hezbollah and its allies have been launching attacks from southern Lebanon against the IDF since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
As of February 18, the clashes on the border have resulted in six civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least ten IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 300 people have been killed, including 191 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 40 civilians.

hezbollah, damascus, tehran, and egypt, should come to some arrangement over the problem of the isreali apartheid regime. the problem isn’t going away. as we have seen recently, the problem will only get worse. making agreements with this apartheid regime is a fruitless endevour.
