The last Russian-Turkish war was the liberation war for Bulgaria in which the bulgarian voluntiers 6000 men on Shipka epic fight hold over 30 000 ottomans under Sulejman pasha command who wanted to join Osman pasha in northen Bulgaria and if this was happend Russia should have retried behind Dunav river and to wait more reinforsments and then to make a bloodbath or to let ote ottomans to win the war.

So contribution for the russian victory is 50% for the bulgarians volutiers who hold Shipka top and 50% for russian army backups, because without one the other would have collapsed.
