Houthi Artillery Pounds Saudi-Backed Troops In Central Yemen (Video)

On December 9, the Houthis repelled a limited attack by the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies on their positions in the district center of Damt in the central province of Dhale, according to the al-Masirah TV.

The Houthis media wing released a 8-minute video of Houthi artillery shelling positions, vehicles and gatherings of Saudi-led coalition troops. Several Saudi-backed Yemeni fighters can be seen getting hit in the video.

After repelling the attack, Houthi engineer units blew up a strategic bridge around Damt. Sources loyal to the Saudi-backed Yemeni President, Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, said that the Houthis destroyed the bridge in order to prevent the coalition from launching new attacks on the district center.

The Saudi-led coalition and its allies have stepped up its attacks against the Houthis since the beginning of the peace talks in Sweden in what appears to be an attempt to pressure the Yemeni rebel group. Despite of this, the Houthis are still refusing many demands of Hadi’s government, including the withdrawal from the key port of al-Hudaydah.

Good to see the old Soviet designed Zis-3 M1942 76 mm. gun (mounted on a light truck), KPV 14.5 mm. heavy machinegun and the M1937 82 mm. mortar in action by the Houthis. The video shows that an army does not need millions and millions of dollars of US, French or British equipment to inflict death and destruction on an enemy, unlike US/Zionist/NATO/Saudi supported lapdogs.

That’s because the Houthis are motivated and fighting for their own lives. It tends to lead to better performance. As opposed to the Saudi coalition, who are at best only motivated by pay. It tends to lead to only doing just enough to get paid, because dead men can’t spend their money. It’s also in the interest of mercenaries not to win conflicts, because then their meal ticket would be over.

With these attacks they try to pressure the Houthis on the negotiation table, however the only thing they will achieve is humiliation and a expensive scrap filled with sand lmao

I never doubted their ability to attack, and of course, the terain is insane by any standards, and rocky as hell, you simply can manuver an tank in there, even they are just an big honking heep of metal. And so on, eventually, I would go for relability, old Russian gear are usually simple, in an good way, more cooks more spill, if get it, and when your own ass depends on not missing, aka fire when you are dead certain you will hit, the first one is crucial, the seond one if the first is good, can if strategically be brutal to the enemys, etc.

And of course, slow the machinised forces down by creating obstacles, as to make em sitting ducks. This war, must end, and we all know whom is behind it, whom suports iit by fueling the Saudi-barbarians, to the embargoes, witch by all standards are crimes against humanity but this time its the western forces that makes this slughter house to en bloddy reality and yet they just bombs on, nobody cares, huh, whines about moral values, but gives the 85 000 Yemeni children the middle finger, go f…. your self, yeah, whines about the unborn, but gives an f…. about those born, you have no idea of how bad you have behaved, this is really, really bad.

And the west have no shame, lies about the legitimazy of course, and lies about the Houtis, of course, when not an nail goes thru the blockade of Yemen, they stil,l deef bullshit about Iran and terrorism, and Yemen.
