The Houthis announced on March 30 that their snipers had killed and injured 34 personnel of the Saudi-led coalition, including 6 Saudi service members, in the last 48 hours.
According to an infographic released by the Yemeni group’s media wing, Houthi snipers targeted coalition personnel along the Yemeni border with the southern Saudi provinces of Najran, Jizan and Asir.

Since the beginning of 2017, Houthi snipers have increased their activity throughout Yemen, especially along the border with Saudi Arabia. They are usually armed with a variety of locally modified heavy sniper rifles and Western-made sniper rifles, which were captured from the Saudi military.
The Houthis view their sniper units as a low cost and risk way to infect heavy losses on the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies. This strategy has proved to be successful, to some extent.
The number and experience of the Houthi sniper force seems to be increasing. This does not bode well for the Saudi coalition trash, is also bad for their morale. :)
The Houthi secret recipe to success is their adherence to tribalism. By placing their own tribal needs above Saudi tribal needs or Jewish tribal needs, they have made a commitment to ensure future generations of their own tribe. In doing so they have made a public universal statement that while other tribes go extinct the Houthi will remain a uniquely identifiable people. This is why Zionist hate them more then anything “how dare a Goyim be in touch with their own tribe” says the Jew.
I would not call this success yet. The Houthis are holding their own, but the invader is not expelled from Yemen yet. They have exacted a terrible price from the invader that’s for sure, but will it be enough. There appears to be no international pressure to end this dreadful and unlawful invasion by Saudi Arabia. It is very strange to have such a “blackout”.
