On August 5, the Yemeni Air Force and the Yemeni Missiles Forces [both loyal to the Houthis] carried out a coordinated attack on Saudi-led coalition troops along the western coast of Yemen, according to the Yemeni al-Masirah TV.
In details, the Yemeni Missiles Forces launched several “ballistic missiles” on several gatherings of the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies, while armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) of the Yemeni Air Force bombed several positions of the coalition.
Experts believe that the Houthis used the Badir-1 solid fuel artillery rocket, which is a locally-made copy of the Iranian Fajir-3, and an armed UAV named Qasef-1, which is a copy of the Iranian Ababil-2.
A day earlier, an armed UAV of the Houthis struck a military base in the southern Saudi province of Asir. According to pro-Houthis sources, the attack caused a notable explosion and a significant death toll in the base.
These attacks are likely a response to the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on the coastal city of al-Hudaydah. On August 2, coaltion warplaens bombed a hospital and a local fishing port in the city killing more than 55 civilians.
It’s kind of sad that the U.S./Saudis have reverted to the old tactic of biological warfare.
Container-unloading cranes at Hodeidah were targeted and destroyed (thanks, CENTCOM) for the initial de facto blockade of the north. Cargo had to be manually unloaded with the ship’s small onboard crane or literally manually – by hand. That exacerbated the effect of the Saudi’s peace-through-starvation-of-Houthis plan. Plenty of aid was and is flowing to ports in the UAE-controlled southern ports, so not so much starvation/disease there.
The total Saudi blockade of the port started last November. I guess the Saudis and U.S. felt guilty of al the resulting deaths and figured it was bad PR. So the US (via USAID/CIA through the UN World Food Program) donates four truck-mounted cranes in January (to replace the port’s five much-larger gantry cranes we had destroyed). Hey – how about a nice, warm applause? We’re the f’king HEROS here! Nice gesture – they can lift containers of cargo off the ship, they just can’t reach most of them on a normal, small container ship that can use Hodeidah. And the Saudis kind of eased the blockade, but not really. So maybe a dozen or two containers a day when the bombs are not falling.
Now the U.S./Saudis/UAE still want to drag out the biological warfare for the Houthis. A cholera epidemic is easy to start among starving people. It worked great in Sanaa for most last year before being controlled. Hodeidah is the target this year – that’s why the hospital and city’s water plant in at Zabid were bombed. The hospital was just about to start a cholera vaccination program – how coincidental. Does any of this sound like a familiar U.S. tactic? Wait… it gets worse.
To avoid the bad PR from the war crimes – aerial bombardment of water infrastructure and the region’s main cholera treatment facility – the US/Saudis/UAE are instead relying on their terroristic agents to mortar these facilities (the Houthis reported that they were hit by air strikes but damage isn’t consistent with that). The Evil Orb Coalition’s intent is to make it look like it was the Houthis doing this and blame them for their own cholera epidemic. It looks like that scheme isn’t attracting much attention despite the recent, coordinated reporting starting yesterday in the usual western MSM outlets. The Houthis creating their own cholera epidemic is just too damn preposterous for anyone to believe. Well, screw the anti-Houthi PR campaign, I guess. With no clean water, those damn Hodeidah civilians will start dying in droves – the epidemic is bound to take a few Houthi fighters, too. The UAE mercs can wait a few months, then just walk in to Hodeida (and Sanaa) to mop up the survivors.

When the US signed the agreement with Iran, it was because Saudi Arabia was running out of oil, and the US planned for Iran to replace the oil end of the petrodollar scam. The Saudis irate that they had been jilted by their long term lover, decided to steal more oil from Yemen, in an effort to make them more attractive to America. Then Trump came along, and decided he would break the agreement with Iran, and help the Saudis to kill all the Houthi’s, and steal their oil. Now Iran incensed that America had double crossed them decided to help the Yemenis.
The US has lost its proposed pipeline to Europe through Syria, and if it also loses all the petrodollar taxes it collects, the US will collapse economically. Already some see that Americas plan to steal its way out of debt is failing and are starting to pull their money out of US dollars.
