On October 15, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) captured al-Abdiyah district center in the central Yemeni province of Ma’rib form Saudi-backed Forces.
Houthi fighters managed to enter the district center, which is located to the south of Ma’rib city, after launching a large coordinated attack from several directions. Saudi-backed forces failed to hold onto their positions.

In the last few days, the Houthis imposed control of several areas around al-Abdiyah district center, including Lahjla, Bilad al-Thabati, al-Balghaith, al-Harqan, al-Shaddadi, al-Madhd, Thamdah and al-Arwal al-Shib.
The Saudi-led coalition conducted dozens of airstrikes in order to prevent the Houthis from taking over al-Abdiyah. Between October 14 and 15, coalition warplanes carried out 40 airstrikes on Houthi forces around the district center. The coalition claimed that 180 fighters were killed and ten vehicles were destroyed.
The Saudi-led coalition’s intense airstrikes failed to deter the Houthis, who besieged al-Abdiyah district center on September 21.
With al-Abdiyah in their hands, the Houthis will likely advance faster towards Ma’rib city from the southern direction. The group’s fighters are already on the city’s western outskirts.

Good news
The Houthis move from one victory to another, well done, respect.
Most all of those Saudi air strikes are futile, with bombs landing in open fields or empty buildings or killing innocent civlians.
Exactly who are those people on the ground coordinating them? And what ground forces are capitalizing on the results? And who is conducting the bomb damage assessment?
Answer is no one is engaging in any of the above.
It’s just the daily report to stay on the good side of the Clown Prince.
