On March 20 afternoon, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) announced that they had carried out yet another attack on Saudi Arabia.
In a statement, the group’s spokesman, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, said that the attack was the third phase of Operation Breaking the Siege 2 which was announced early on in the day.
According to the spokesman, a key oil facility of Aramco in the western Saudi city of Jeddah and vital targets in the Kingdom’s southern province of Jizan were targeted with several ballistic and cruise missiles.
“The armed forces renew their warning to the Saudi enemy that they have already begun to launch focused strikes, according to the bank of targets for breaking the siege, as promised,” Brig. Gen. Sari said.
Saudi Arabia acknowledged that Armco’s oil distribution facility in Jeddah was hit. The Saudi Press Agency said that the attack caused a fire in one of the facility’s storage tanks. However, there was no casualties.

During the first and second phases of Operation Breaking the Siege 2, the Houthis targeted a number of vital facilities in western and southern Saudi Arabia with suicide drones as well as ballistic and cruise missiles. A number of the Houthis’ drones were intercepted by the Saudi-led coalition.

The Houthis said that the large-scale operation was carried out in response to the Saudi-led coalition’s strict blockade on Yemen.
Surprisingly, the Saudi-led coalition said in a statement that it will reserve its right to respond to the Houthis’ operation in order to facilitate the new Saudi-led peace initiative for Yemen. Saudi Arabia hopes to launch the initiative before the end of March.
“The Houthis should not repeat their mistakes in misinterpreting the coalition’s efforts to end the crisis,” the coalition’s statement reads.
The Houthis may escalate their attacks on Saudi Arabia even further in the upcoming few days in order to improve their position before agreeing to the peace talks.
Lift the seige. Return Marib to Yemen.
Saudis have bought 600 patriot system where each cost 3-5 million dollars since 2015….uuppss…
Do you want to say a billions?
One of the reasons I specifically asked for S-300s. Patriot is worth chit
Oy gevalt not the precious oil. Thats the kosher shekel money. Oy oy…
Remember the rocket/drone that flew from Ukraine, passing Hungarian airspace and Romanian and crashed in Croatia? Luckily no one was hurt. But this also makes you scratch your head, because Romania and Hungary have indeed Patriots. Why wasn’t the missile intercepted? Hungarian said the radar did indeed pick it up but flew past its airspace to fast for them to be able to do something (1000 km/h) Makes you wonder what kind of system patriot is?
Israel strike targets in Latakia whenever they like, why aren’t the missiles intercepted?
Usually the majority, if not all, ARE intercepted
Same for Houthis, that’s why they fire salvos
‘israel’ has been striking for 10 years or more, why do they never achieve anything?
If Syria had struck israel for the same amount of time, there would be no ‘israel’ today.
Israel is not striking oil facilities to see a lot of smoke, they are hitting small targets like a truck or a person.
And Phase 4 will be back to Phase 1 and nobody gives a shit. Because they’re just tickling the Saudi government with the crappy drones.
Phase 4 is you bitch tickling Mohammed bin Salman’s rectum with your crappy tongue.
Hurrah for the Fremen! Down with House Harkonnen!
NATO will have to ask permission from Russia before sending any more S-300 Defense Systems.

Holy Crap, the Saudi’s (meaning bin-Salman Jr) are desperate to get out of this quagmire. They are claiming they are so good-willed as to not retaliate and jeopardize the POSSIBILITY of any talks! They are d-e-s-p-e-r-a-t-e. The Houthi’s should go hard with strikes and maximize their position of strength for any talks, assuming they agree to any.
Well Done
