Houthis Launch Barrage Of Rockets At Saudi Troops In Jizan

The Yemeni Missiles Force [loyal to the Houthis] announced in an official statement on October 21 that it had launched a barrage of Grad rockets on a gathering of Saudi military troops in the southern Kingdom’s province of Jizan.

“The missiles force of the Mujahedeen of the army and the popular committees [the armed wing of the Houthis] targeted a gathering of Saudi soldiers in the camp of Ain al-Hara with rockets, causing fetal injuries in their ranks,” a source in the Yemeni Missiles Force told the al-Masirah TV.

The Houthis use of the Grad rockets, which have the range of less than 20km, indicates that the Yemeni group is holding advanced positions south of Jizan. This is very possible because the last few weeks witnessed several attacks by Houthi fighters on positions of the Saudi military in the province.

A day earlier, the Yemeni Missiles Force and Air Force targeted a headquarters of the UAE military in western Yemen with rockets and drones. The UAE claimed through its official news agency that the attack was repelled.

These attacks are clearly aimed at disturbing Saudi Arabia, which is facing unprecedented international pressure over the murder of Saudi Journalist and critic Jamal Khashoggi. Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, an ally of the Houthis, called on the kingdom to put an end to the war in Yemen as a way to decrease the current pressure on it.

Is it just me, or has it been 1 way traffic in favour of the Houthis for the past 2 weeks or more?

InshaAllah this is a good sign. A sign of the Saudi’s and their puppets losing their shit.

I am quite certain now that the Yemen conflict is in the endgame stage. Who ends it is the question – MbS throws in the towel (doubt it), enemies of MbS take him down in a coup or force King to remove him – this is playing out now, Houthis taking war into KSA developing momentum and threatens loss of southern provinces, trigger civil war – this forces intervention to prevent KSA collapse and end the now destabilizing Yemen war. Lastly, growing elite opposition to Yemen war (and MbS) force an end to the war.

Just a matter of time now

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

Hope you are right I’d love to see the end of KSA and this war in general

S Melanson; As the resident most knowledgeable on Yemen I offer this with no judgement on its validity. https://VeteransToday.com/2018/10/20/intel-drop-khashoggi-and-some-nasty-truth.

I read it and found the comment on the purpose of CIA Director visit to Riyadh of interest:

‘A last ditch effort to save the Saudi’s from being crushed by Houthi tribesmen…’

A general comment on the article I will provide for what it’s worth.

1) It is very long and includes unnecessarily detailed technical information, particularly on detecting ionizing radiation.

2) I did not like the writing style and in particular the tendency to make personal attacks on readers should they not believe the accusations put forth in the article. The style is to emotional and pendantic like a rant. This article will not persuade the indoctrinated and more likely turn them off.

3) The article covers a lot of territory and moves so roughshod over topics that what is said on a topic fails to convince and moves so fast to the next topic that any substance has no time to sink into the readers mind. Most readers would need to read more than once and given the length, this would be very time consuming. The discussion is more rant then careful methodical analysis and synthesis. Thus, the narrative is not convincing on its own so the reader has to examine the evidence cited and do the analysis and synthesis to see if they come to the same conclusions as the author. But that is suppose to be the authors job.

4) I am aware of many of the topics raised and there is truth but also things said that I find contradictory to what is said in other parts of the long article. But the emotional delivery and writing style seriously undermines the potential value of this piece in waking up the public, despite any good intentions on the authors part.
