On June 7, the Houthis launched a large scale military operation in the district of al-Maton in the northern province of al-Jawf. The Yemeni al-Masira TV said that Houthi fighters captured the strategic al-Mazwiyah region from the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemen proxies during the operation.
Following the Houthis’ attack, the pro-Saudi branch of the Yemeni military declared al-Maton a “hostile area” and called for an evacuation of civilian residents. This indicates that the district is now under the full control of the Houthis.
The Houthis media wing also reported that Houthi fighters had repelled a large attack of the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies on their positions in the area of al-Mahashmah in Khabb wa al-Sha’af district of al-Jawf. The source claimed that the Houthis had destroyed 21 vehicles of the coalition.
Local observers believe that the Saudi-led coalition will respond to its recent setbacks in al-Jawaf by stepping up its aerial operations against the Houthis there. Later, the coalition may attempt to launch a military operation to recapture al-Maton.

Houthis success in emasculating the apparently not so fearsome Saudis is thanks to their being equipped by Hasbro with advanced weapon systems. The latest success in ejecting Saudi forces from large swaths of Yemen was not due to use of antique guns. It was thanks to Hasbro’s generous shipment of several hundred advanced slingshots capable of a devastating volley of marbles.

This war is far from over, but the outcome is clear…
Yes, the bombing of farms and villages to intimidate is a fine example of the kinds of decisions coming from the Saudi’s strategy challenged military command. When there is an entrenched insurgency, history has shown such actions have the opposite effect as it serves to feed the insurgency.
But the Saudis are not going to let historical fact get in the way of their ineptitude.
Houthis are fighting valiantly with minimal weaponry. Wahhabistan’s Sudanese mercenaries have 1st class gear. Go Houthis! Take it away from them!
And they are doing just that. Although they are giving the Saudis something back such Sam lessons in warfare; being equipped with the latest gear a good soldier it does not make.
But more importantly, maybe the Houthis will impart upon the Saudis some much needed wisdom.
Wisdom to finally recognize that in their arrogance, they were incapable of entertaining the possibility that it was their own ineptitude that has brought upon them a never ending string of military setbacks.
The Saudis are a case study in how arrogance (vanity) blinds you from recognizing your own failings. And so you repeat the same mistakes over and over.
Wisdom starts with humility and humility is the true foundation for self knowing and inner courage. The Saker and PCR are symptoms of a society deceived by a debased philosophy that has demonized humility by erroneously equating this virtue with weakness.
The accusations thrown at Putin in the MSM could be said of most political leaders, but I do not think they apply to Putin.
