On January 23, the Houthis’ media wing released a video summarizing the group’s largest and most successful attacks during the last year.
The video shows operations from each month of 2019. The operations varied from ambushes, anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) strikes, improvised explosives device (IED) attacks, large-scale offensive and defensive operations to drone, missile strikes, and even air-defense engagements.
Most of the attacks shown in the video took place in the Yemeni provinces of Hajjah, Ma’rib, Dale and Saada as well as in the southern Saudi provinces of Najran, Jizan and Asir.
The video highlights the significant losses which were inflicted by the Houthis on the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies in 2019.
Last year, the Houthis were able to up-scale their operations and significantly improves their offensive capabilities. The Yemeni group presented several advanced weapon systems and adopted new tactics to drain Saudi forces.
These measures by the Houthis effectively prevented the Saudi-led coalition from making any notable achievement in Yemen in 2019.

The Houthi would keep them busy at night with the midnight refinery and palace bombing run. We would have to wait a couple of days for the IR video of those strikes.
The Ansarallah don’t need A-10, in one single ambush north of Aden last week they knocked over 35 Saudi Abrams, M113 and at least three Froggy LeClerc without suffering a single casualty.
