On February 9, the Houthis repelled an attack by the Saudi-led coalition and its Yemeni proxies on their positions in the area of al-Sawh in the Kingdom’s southern province of Najran, according to the al-Masirah TV.
Houthi fighters killed and injured several personnel of the coalition while repelling the attack. The Yemeni group also destroyed a LAV-R armored recovery vehicle and a LAV-25 amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle of the Saudi military. Both vehicles are made by Canada, one of the main weapons suppliers for the coalition.
Saudi-led coalition warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Houthis forces in al-Sawh after the failure of the attack. However, the airstrikes were ineffective.
The Houthis maintained a military presence in the southern provinces of Saudi Arabia, especially Najran and Jizan, throughout this war. The Yemeni group views this presence as a measure to deter the Kingdom, which is still incapable of securing its own border.

I watched this video a couple of times and am amazed at the sheer cowardice and incompetence of the Saudi scum who have spent over $1.5 TRILLION on western weapons and could not fight their way literally out of a paper bag. LAVs are shit. Bradleys are shit. In fact, any sort of IFV is a liability in asymmetric warfare, especially if you have bad tactics. The houthis are scattered all over the battlefield so they’re hard to kill. The Saudis and their proxies have a way of hiding in the shade and drinking gatorade, or hiding in armoured vehicles, so they’re easy to kill. Is anyone in the Saudi high command even watching?
