The Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (more widely known as the Houthis) has released several videos showing its ground and naval forces. The increase of the Houthi media activity comes amid the deep crisis within the Saudi-backed government hiding in the port city of Aden and setbacks of Saudi-backed forces in the province of Marib.
A brief overview of the recent developments in Yemen:
- On December 21, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted 4 airstrikes on the Madghal area;
- On December 21, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted airstrikes on the Shada area;
- The Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room (loyal to Ansar Allah) reported 130 ceasefire violations in al-Hudaydah during the past 24 hours;
- On December 22, clashes between Ansar Allah and Saudi-led forces continued in the Raghwan area.
