On February 10, Abha International Airport in the southern Saudi province of ‘Asir was attacked by the Houthis (Ansar Allah).

In a statement, Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Houthis, said two Samad-3 and two Qasef-2K suicide drones were launched from Yemen at “military aircraft” parked at Abha International Airport.

The Samad-3, which has a range of more than 1,500 km, was presented by the Houthis in 2019. On the other hand, the Qasef, a version of the Iranian Ababil-2, has been in service since late 2016. Both drones are usually armed with high-explosive fragmentation, HE-FRAG, warheads.

Brig. Gen. Sari said Saudi Arabia was repeatedly warned against using civilian airports for military purposes. However, the Kingdom opted to continue doing so.

“Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege are ongoing,” the spokesman said.

The Saudi-led coalition acknowledged that Abha International Airport was hit. The coalition said a civilian airliner was damaged in the attack.

Photos showing a damaged Airbus A320-214 plane of Flyadeal, a local Saudi carrier, in Abha International Airport were shared on Saudi social media accounts.

Earlier today, the Saudi-led coalition announced that its air-defense means had intercepted two drones launched by the Houthis from Yemen. It’s unclear yet if the drones were among the four launched at Abha.

The Saudi-led coalition vowed to hold the Houthis accountable. Usually, the coalition responds to such attacks by the Houthis with a series of intense airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

  • The Liaison and Coordination Officers’ Operations Room (loyal to Ansar Allah) reported 179 ceasefire violations in al-Hudaydah during the past 24 hours.
  • On February 9, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted an airstrike on the Durayhimi area.
  • On February 9, Saudi-led coalition warplanes conducted 4 airstrikes on the Sarwah area.
  • On February 9, Ansar Allah captured Kufil mountain east of Sarwah from the Saudi-led forces.

A harsh response by the Saudi-led coalition will likely lead to more escalation in Yemen. This would further jeopardize the already slow peace talks to settle the conflict.

Mohammed ben Shlomo & his Jewish House of Wahhabistan met their Waterloo in Yemen….

Cromwell

They should hit the fat bastards Palace.

The damage is much more than the scratch on the airliner. A couple of hangars with jets inside are completely destroyed, but you’ll only hear the attack on “civilians” by bad Houthis (which seems to be a shrapnel, not a warhead at least containing 20kg of HE). A fat Saudi says they will “dicipline” Houthis for this attack. Sour Loser!

It doesn’t matter how much Saudis bark, Yemeni army and Ansarallah are going to capture Ma’rib. The battle is right at the western gate of the city and moving on, despite intense bombing by Wahhabi air force.

This is Ma’rib from the position of Yemeni forces: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Et4KNUMXUAI8_DW?format=png&name=small

They are sweeping and clearing areas surrounding the city. Liberation is at hand.

Ma’rib Saudi chimp alert: Remember when Ansarallah kicked your ass out of Marib? Oh… you WILL.. by the end next week.

Do you want the leftovers of Saudi officers returned in shipping containers or should the Houthis just bury them in the desert? Oh, you blew up the f’king Houdaidah container port. I guess they’re goin’ back into the sand where they belong. Sorry.

Saudi liars and cowards could not hide the damage this time. A 737 was totally gutted along with several tankers and service vehicles after being hit by 3 loitering munitions that waited until the passengers had cleared. This was a mere message and shape of things to come in Riyadh, if the Saudi child killers do not leave Yemen.

Flyadeal A320 service to from Abha (King Khalid Air Base) to Dammam (King Fahd Air Base) has been canceled for 10 Feb due to unforeseen technical difficulties (Quasef-2 in the f’king cargo hold). CENTCOM members in the U.S. Military Training Mission to Chimpland flying from Abha should find alternate transportation, or take your chances in HZ-FAG scheduled for tomorrow. Light drone showers are still possible.
