UPDATE: The Saudi-led coalition released a statement claiming that no airport was hit and all UAVs were intercepted.

For the second time this week, the Houthis targeted Jizan and Abha aiports in Saudi Arabia’s southern region with suicide unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Houthis, said that several Qasef-2K UAVs targeted warplanes shelters and other military targets in the two airports in the late hours of July 5.

“Our operations will continue and will be more painful in the coming days if the Saudi regime continues to escalate its crimes against our dear people,” the al-Masirah TV quoted the spokesman as saying.

The Saudi-led coalition has not commented on the attacks, so far. However, Yemeni sources said that that attack put Jizan and Abha airports out of service.

Two days ago only, suicide UAVs launched by the Houthis struck both airports. These repeated attacks on key facilities in southern Saudi Arabia have become a testimony to the Houthis ever growing offensive capabilities.

Good for the Houthis they have every right to self defence using whatever means at their disposal.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

houthis should have drones that record the aftermath of their strikes, to prove saudi scumbags wrong :)))

verner

it should be enough to make mohammed bin salman (of leonardo da vince fake painting fame – 450million bucks for a fake, what an idiot) lose sleep over the fact that the houthis are coming. guess the disintegrating states of A will have to bail him out and the squatters forced to repatriate their advisers to mohammed bin salman in his Yemen war.
