HTS, Al-Qaeda, Turkish-Backed Groups Launch Large-Scale Attack On Christian Town In Northern Hama (Photos)

A coalition of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), Turkish-backed factions and al-Qaeda-affiliated groups announced the beginning of a new large-scale attack on government-held areas in the northern Hama countryside in the afternoon of June 6.

The new attack was named after Mu’tasim Bellah al-Madani, a prominent Saudi figure of al-Qaeda, who was killed by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in northern Hama last month.

Pro-government sources said that attack is aimed at capturing the Christian town of Mahardah. Heavy clashes are reportedly taking place in the villages of Jibeen and Tell Meleh north of the town, as the SAA is working to repel the attack.

HTS’s news network, Iba’a, and the media office of the National Front for Liberation (NFL) released several photos of terrorists participating in the attack. The photos showed several Turkish-supplied weapons such as the HAR-66 anti-tank weapon and a Panthera F9 armored personnel carrier (APC).

The last two month witnessed several similar attacks by the HTS and its allies. However, the SAA with support from the Russian Aerospace Forces was able to repel them all.

The Russians can’t let this town get captured, if it does the terrorists bastard will slaughter our Christians cousins. The Russian must dispatch force to protect it by all means.

Cool man, those are times of liberation, not of takfiri mercenary invasions, don’t be in panic, take some medicine.

Real Anti-Racist Action

medicine are for people in a panic. He is not in a panic, he is calling for action.

Russian only fight from sky.

As long the Russians and they Muslim allies destroy these terrorists that’s all that matters. I don’t support no sort of crimes against humanity or corruption from anyone or any nations.

Rob

This is totally wastage of lives. To play a leading role is much better than a piece of land. To take the nation love is more precious than the value of land.

Rafik Chauhan

let them come . and they will all go in dirt . and for this Turkey must pay for giving logistic and material support

Taz T

Turkey is buying Russian weapons and is in good terms with them.

IDF will attack syria again Tonight…………….IDF just posted pretext….supposed SAA Ground to air Missiles fired off onto occupied Golan………. time to let ben Gurion Airport feel some Missile Impacts…

Breaking almasdar news According to a military source in Mhardeh, the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham stormed the small town of Jibeen and nearby hilltop of Tal Malah this evening in a bid to cut off the government supply line between the two towns.

Following a short battle, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham managed to capture Jibeen from the Syrian Arab Army, while also reaching the key hilltop of Tal Malah. As a result of this jihadist attack this evening, the Syrian Arab Army was forced to close the main road from Mhardeh to Al-Sqaylabiyeh. Intense clashes are now ongoing at Tal Malah

this is the article on IDF pretext for upcoming attack on SAA tonight

BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:40 P.M.) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed this evening that a number of anti-aircraft missiles were fired into the occupied Golan Heights region from Syria. The IDF alleged that the anti-aircraft missiles were specifically fired towards Mount Hermon (Jabal Sheikh), which is the same site they previously claimed was attacked by projectiles from Syria.

Israel holds the Syrian military responsible for all such attacks, even if the latter is not involved. The Israeli military will likely respond in the coming hours, as they have in the past. They will most likely target a Syrian air defense site inside western Damascus or the Al-Quneitra Governorate.

Concrete Mike

If Russia decides to destroy these terrorists, it will do it right away, and with very high accuracy. Maybe these terrorists do not know that they are death already.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

All the constant news of Turkish supplied weaponry is totally disheartening and infuriating at the same time, Erdogan the warmonger is spending heaps of money on his patsy rebels, but I hope eventually he has to watch it all go up in smoke, boom boom boom. Maybe it’s time for those 300,000 ethnically cleansed Kurds to finally join Assad in taking back Aleppo and Idlib, Erdogan has all his refugees living in their old homes now but I’m sure they still want them back, the SDF aren’t doing anything to help their western brothers and sisters do it so Assad’s their only hope now, and Assad keeps saying he wants all of Syria’s territory back, so I think that’s the only way they’ll ever return to their homes now. I wish Assad would give the [western enclave] Kurds some US made TOW’s and send them into Hama and Idlib, let the Kurds earn their homes back by helping to kick the Turks out of Syria, first they can get rid of those annoying Turkish OB posts the SAA or Russia can’t do anything about, that way the SAA can finally get past them and really get stuck into the rebels.

dutchnational

I think SDF would assist Assad, but they need guarantees. Otherwise no go, no wheat, no oil.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Trump tried to force them to reconcile with Assad last year way back in january when he first made comments about withdrawing from Syria way back before his official statement in december. The Kurds sent over 50 delegations to Damascus between jan and june alone, and Assad agreed to all their demands but one, self autonomy, I’m afraid I’m not as confident as you are about a Kurdish reconsideration on that sticking point, as far as they’re concerned they already have a self autonomous zone and no longer need Assad. The only thing that could change that is this, the US sits back and lets Erdogan capture more of their [Assad’s} territory, that would create a scenario whereby the Kurds could see an advantage in switching sides, and it’s still a possibility so I nearly hope it does happen. Assad’s already passed into legislation all the demands the Kurds were making, Kurds can now use their own language. They can now officially name their children with Kurdish names. They can use Kurdish business names. They can have ethnically oriented political parties. And the citizenship rights have been extended to nearly all the Kurds who’s Syrian citizenship was in question due to illegal immigration, only a few of the 250,000 are still without citizenship due to security concerns. They’ve already got everything they ever wanted and gave absolutely nothing in return, except for what they say about Assad and the government now, “we will gladly cooperate with Assad” and “we are still a part of the Syrian country”, but that’s about the extent of their gratitude, just some lip service for propaganda purposes. But there’s the 300,000 Kurds Erdogan kicked out, they want their homes back and the US or the SDF won’t help them to do it, I think Assad has a good chance of getting them to cooperate. And Kurds can kill Turks and get away with it, there’s no other fighting force in Syria that could do that and get away with it, but the Kurds can and have, hundreds of times over the last few years. I think they’d be invaluable assets for Assad if he could persuade them to cooperate, especially if it wasn’t on an official level. I want to see those Kurds blow up the Turkish OB posts which would then allow the SAA to move into those areas, I can’t see another way of getting rid of those OB posts.

Xoli Xoli

Erdogan is killing Christians but wants Christians country jets and air defences.Stupid Erdopig.

Taz T

They look well armed and supplied by terrorist backes.
