HTS And Its Allies Violate New Ceasefire, Attack Army Positions In Hama, Idlib

Illustrative image

Less than 24 hours after the beginning of the new ceasefire agreement, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its allies launched limited ground attacks on Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions in the towns of Shaykh Hadid and Kernaz in northern Hama and on the town of Qasabiyeh in southern Idlib.

The al-Mayadeen TV said that the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) was able to repel the attacks, which began in the late hours of June 12. The Russian Aerospace Forces and the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) resumed their airstrikes on terrorists’ positions in northern Hama and southern Idlib as an initial response.

According to pro-government sources, army units destroyed two battle tanks and a BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) belonging to HTS and its allies during the clashes in northern Hama and southern Idlib.

Earlier, a three-day ceasefire was announced by pro-government sources. The failed ceasefire was the second this month and the third since the beginning of the SAA ground operations around Idlib.

HTS’ new attacks indicate that the group and its allies are not willing to accept any peaceful agreement what so ever. This leaves the door open for future ground operations by the SAA.

SAA dont allow ceasefire as long as this terrorists are alive. If you ignore just feel the pain.Let Russia make ceasefire with the terrorists in Russia.

Rob

Russia, Turkey and their allies have completely failed to establish the Syrian forces control on Hama, Idlib, Al-Rukhban and on the rest of Syria with in four years.

Therefore, it gives chances to US, Israeli, AL-QAEDA and ISIS terrorists to attack and butcher Syrian nation again and again to destabilise the country and establish themselves there. The next target of America and Israel is Turkey and Russia because I see the incidence in Russia.

Mr.Rob Please exclude Turkey. Because Turkey is in Syria for own hidden agendas which to protect Erdogan himself and sons oil and gas theft.

Rob

The most important agenda is to protect people of the region from terrorism. The Turkey has an important role in the region to bring peace and stability to the region and kickout all US and Israeli secrete forces from the region that sucking dicks like whores of the Syrian nation to make them exhaust.

Excellent! Informations that we can only get on some place like here. The more I study cases, the more I understand how much we are “auto-intoxicated” in the west, by our own beliefs… wow

AM Hants

I got the link, from somebody else posting the seriously informative and fascinating video. So love to share it.

Just cannot believe how the media have played us and how we fall for it time and time again.

Back in the 90s, when the BBC was not controlled by Common Purpose and friends, well, not so blatantly. They produced a good documentary on ‘Time Watch’, regarding ‘Operation Gladio’. There were no way they could ignore it, owing to events in Italy at the time. I then read a book by Richard Cottrel, ‘Gladio, Nato’s Dagger at the Heart of Europe: The Pentagon-Nazi-Mafia Terror Axis’, which was well worth reading. Also ties into an article relating to Kissinger and events in Cyprus, before Turkey invaded. As I remember the Kissinger quote, ‘Whoever rules Cyprus, Crete and Malta’, control the world. Do believe him and his mates are trying to find ways of securing the Med, so Russian ships and submarines, are cut off from it. Not forgetting that Soros is funding the independent movement of Catalonia. Now, I am reading ‘Blackwater’, on how history of the Blackwater Mercenaries and also interesting, tying in with it all. Including how Dick Chenie bought into Haliburton, realising there was a niche for a private military industry and then went on to change Government legislation, including dropping the number of US Forces, so they would need the support of the private mercenaries. He then became CEO of Haliburton and not forgetting his involvement in the Carlyle Group, where redundant Prime Ministers flock, and together with the Bush family and Bin Laden family, work together. Then you have Genie Energy, run by Chenie, Murdoch, Rothschild and Summers and how that all links into the ‘Greater Israel Project’, which is dependent on ‘Operation Gladio’ 20th and 21st Century actions.

BBC Timewatch – Operation Gladio… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YhRBxxyRqs

Not forgetting that the CIA was set up to absorb the Nazi and Bolshevik elite, courtesy the work and actions of Reinhard Gehlen and Allen Dulles, going back to 1939. The kids of those given ‘safe passage’ in ‘Operation Paperclip’ are now in positions of power in state funded institutions and various Governments of the day.

How Was The CIA Formed? By absorbing the Nazi war criminal infrastructure…

On Oct 8, 1998, the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act became US law. This legislation:

“…calls for the establishment of the Nazi War Criminal Records Interagency Working Group [IWG] to locate, identify, and make available to the public Nazi war criminal records.”…’

Yeah, thanks for sharing again, I have other sources but overall it match that. Take a look on Youtube: Ron Paul, Wesley Clark, operation Timber Sycamore.

Russians intelligence discovered almost 17 network level to hide tracks.

I’m not the guy that follow “conspiracy theories” but sometimes it just required to remove the word “theory” ?

These gang are powefull to hide track. They published a book (through agents of the system) called: “Conspiracy Encyclopedia: The Encyclopedia of Conspiracy Theories”, of course to put the trouble, some are theories, but some not. Good examples was 9/11 (aka to get unlimited legitimacy for US hegemony under the name of “Globalization”) and so called “Arab Spring” (aka dominoes effect). Both had ingredients and both was not theories. The second I saw this events, the second I understood it was something big behind and basically impossible to achieve it with so few “rebels elements” (of those explained in mainstream) without having external support and strategy somewhere.

AM Hants

Thanks, for your response and comments. What I love about these sites, is how you learn so much, from the posters, more than the articles and then go digging for other parts of the jigsaw.

Conspiracy – so agree with you, but, also, a conspiracy is just a hunch before it becomes fact. I do enjoy popping over to Benjamin Fulford, not for what he says, as most of it I take with a pinch of salt. However, you find crumbs in his findings, which come true within a period of time. Even if most of it is ‘controlled disinformation’.

What I enjoy, is sniffing around and trying to find out more. Finding something that fits the jigsaw and sometimes happily believing the false take on things.

What I do find interesting, as shown in your link to “Conspiracy Encyclopedia: The Encyclopedia of Conspiracy Theories”, edited by Thom Burnett, is the fact that they need an audience to brag to. Take Soros for instance. Underestimating his audience, believing he could spin ‘being born of Jewish Faith, whilst being a Nazi collaborater’. Believing, we would think 14 year olds, back in 1944, were the same ‘snowflake’ generation of the 21st century. Him bragging about his actions, over on 60 Minutes on 20 December 1998, just after ‘Operation Gladio’ came to light and just after Washington DC had to release the Nazi files, including CIA involvement, was not what the average, intelligent person, would class as good timing. Still the masses, remain ignorant of the facts.

I look forward to searching through your links.

AM Hants

Abu Ghraib, and I am seriously ignorant, with regards the Iraq War, reminded me of thebeginning of ‘Blackwater’, where it focuses on events at Nisour Square, on September 16 2007. How the arrogance of the mercenaries, led to a blood bath, amongst the innocents.

It was not till 2014, I started to wake up from my media induced, zombie diet, owing to being ignorant, naive and believing the MSM. Together with not believing my own Government, would lust after genocide and ethnic cleansing, wherever natural resources, needed pillaging.

Just started reading you link, relating to Abu Ghraib. Again, thanks for the links.

Loung Kodak

If you don’t mind my saying so, the same time I studied about Blackwater (a little bit okay, back in the day about Irak WarII) was this event that almost everyone forgot — I don’t remember the date but it was probably somewher between 2005-2006 — A huge depot of ammunitions and weaponry was stolen near Bagdad, huge because the size of several football stadium. It was the time we started heard things about Backwater. And the interesting point was that only 5 soldiers (or so…) were there to care the overall of this gigant stock (all killed). And we never heard something on that case there after. Evaporated! Afaik, the United States did not really try to follow the trail of the loot, (I mean, in relation to the threat that represented, and why so little security this time)..? And well, doing such operations must have been huge too, about logistics! How many trucks until the depot could be completely emptied? And practically without trace!? The column of truck had to be very long and easily spotted by air, but nothing! Never heard of it again.. it was only 10 years later that I made the connection between Daesh coming of nowhere, and their need for weapons, and Blackwater still always present on this kind of op. This was the big thing I remember, and yes, a speculation from myself. But that only can explain how Daesh can get their stock so “silently”. If someone here can remember that, hope he would post his memories.

AM Hants

Did find ‘Operation Timber Sycamore’ an eye opener, the MSM will not cover.

Very late to the party, with regards Iraq. The book on Blackwater, only just getting my head around Chenie, seeing a niche in Haliburton, where privatised military would be a nice little earner. Then he changes legislation, to dispose of as many US Forces as he can, whilst demanding private forces, with no accountability to anybody, to replace them. Then Erik Prince, purchases a mega load of land, to create his own Military form of Disneyland. Not forgetting 80% of US intelligence, national security and defence is now run by privatised, tax payer funded, NGOs.

What you are saying, provides a lightbulb moment, where you find ‘Blackwater’, you find Daesh. No doubt, they would not be noticed, in Prince’s Militaryland? Wasn’t it Japan who provided thousands of Toyota trucks to the Government funded terrorists of the day?

Not forgetting, the night before 9/11 the Bush family and their business partners, in Carlyle (where Chenie also hangs out), the Bin Ladens, were having dinner together, allegedly.

— Operation “Timber Sycamore” continues… voltairenet.org/article204373.html

Yes, “Operation Timber Sycamore“ was notably revealed by Professor Jeffrey Sachs – Columbia University, youtube.com/watch?v=fovwPl1guIQ it’s a “fact checked”, and yes, it continues. AND… a good another exemple of L ! E (tagged as “conspiracy theory” what was not) and… yes, this also continues to be denied by the mainstream as well, when the USA no longer really hide it at the same time.

Another intriguing point is that Daesh had dozens of thousands trucks (but not clear how they can got it?) especially to sell the oil they were stealing. Russians revealed they had not less than 8’500 tank-trucks and trafficked for about 1 million US dollars per day! agoravox.fr/actualites/international/article/daech-turquie-8500-camions-174945

So they had enough trucks to empty such a military depot and especially they recruited enough required drivers!

And in the end, when we put all this together, we pretty much understand what happened. It must be understood that “Timber Sycamore” is only one of dozens or even hundreds of joint operations. At one time, FBI / CIA agencies did just that, infiltrating networks and recruiting among fanatics (find Mike German / FBI).

AM Hants

Thanks. Have happily been sharing ‘Operation Timber Sycamore’, owing to finding it fascinating, in a very dark way, how the poacher, is screaming the loudest, hoping his actions will not be noticed. Seriously evil people, we elect to represent us.

I recall the video from last year and I enjoy it again as I did then.

I have noticed that the ranks of the SAS were depleted, and today the SBS is undertaking missions that the SAS would have been 1st choice for.

Both of course have specialties that are not unique to each other, but both groups lean in diverse ways.

A lack of fully trained SAS manpower MAY be a fact today.

I am also aware that experienced UK Navy divers who are not part of the SBS have been used in the coastal areas of Yemen for example.

AM Hants

What has seriously made me curious, with regards what the Specials are trained to do. Is the fact, that even the Daily Mail have reported it, they are going to use the Special Forces, to whip up Russian Hysteria. So assume your James Bond, SBS agent, is going to be used as a cyber troll. Bet they will love that?

Guess, that is what Common Purpose controlling the military and forcing through PC procedures has accomplished.

Wonder if next James Bond film, will have 007 manning social media feedback? Of course, after Daniel Craig, no doubt, the replacement will have one leg, a frock and a penis.

FlorianGeyer

I am fairly good at spotting squaddies. The other ranks all have a similar speech pattern after a while that tends to be adopted by officers from the same back grounds as well.

As for being used as Trolls, most of the ‘other rank’ special forces types I have known, have not really possessed the language skills to be effective in that skillset..

The mostly lame attempts here by such Trolls that deny the undeniable, fall flat on their faces into a road paved with the alphabet.

AM Hants

Those were the Talibans..

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Osama Bin laden was paid by the CIA to create the mujahideen, who then fought against the Russians and eventually forced them out of Afghanistan. When the Russian were gone Osama created Al Qaeda to do the same to the US in other Muslim countries, but the old mujahideen changed their name to the Taliban and fought to remove the US in Afghanistan, the same thing they did to the Russians as the mujahideen. Isis is the newest instalment, and not only do they want to boot the foreigners out of Muslim countries, they also want to take over foreign countries and forcibly convert them to Islam, where as Al Qaeda is more concerned with booting foreigners and foreign influence out of Islamic countries.

Jens Holm

No, Talebans were later and is not international.

Al Qaida was first known being educated in more professional guerilla warfare and using Stinger missiles and some UK – RPGs against the Russian and local communists.

FlorianGeyer

Same people, different name, Jens.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

the USSR was invited into Afghanistan by the legitimate Afghanistan government, there was no invasion at all. And in the time the Russians were there, they built roads and infrastructure, schools for both boys and girls, trained doctors and medical staff as well as built medical facilities, and kept the peace in not just the major urban centres, but in most of the regional rural areas too. And the CIA enrolled Osama Bin laden to create the Mujahedin [islamic warriors], to help oust the Russians from Afghanistan, once that was achieved Osama turned on his US masters and Al Qaeda was formed, or have you forgotten.

Jens Holm

Well, thats a relative. After many Years of chaos the only well organized ones were the communiits but they, as today, didnt represent many …

Some very small organisation by that could not take over anything.

After that we still have no improvements for real in most part, but the invasion by the big coalision is no succes as well. Much seemes to have even worse.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

There was a massive improvement while the Soviets were there helping in Afghanistan, but sadly all those gains have been lost since the US took over.

FlorianGeyer

Are you now drinking with your cocaine Jens? This is a very silly comment, even for you.

Remember that Russia stopped the ground offensive on Idlib. with the stupid Russia-Turkey agreement. Why dit this happen ? because Turkey wanted to protect this gained land by its terrorists and wants the north part of Syria to Turkey. Russia supported Turkey because of their economical and commercial ties. In this way, Turkey is controlling Russia-Syria at Idlib, Israel is controlling Russia-Syria at Goland Heights, and USA is controlling Russia-Syria at Al-Tanf and Kurds area.

If Russia keeps this BS up instead of destroying the terrorists and their sponsors they may as well go home. Cease fire agreements in the past have been violated so why do another? Syria should unleash everything they have against the jews occupying Golan Heights and on the illegal US/NATO bases on its territory and if WW3 starts then so be it at least then everything is out in the open. The problem is that Russia is too interested in appeasing the Turks and the US and sitting on the fence doesn’t solve the problem.

Sinbad2

If Rusia, if Russia if Russia. This is Syria, why can’t the Syrian army do it. As this goes on I am starting to realize that maybe Syria doesn’t deserve to exist. The Syrian people didn’t stand up to defend their country against these savages, they ran away. Why should others die to save these people who won’t even try to save themselves?

d'Artagnan

Well, even the small Armenian unit which has very good human intel on the ground, due to large Armenian community in Syria and Lebanon, has openly conceded that Russia has no real end game in Syria. It intervened to prop up Assad and then showed real weakness when Turks downed the Russian SU-24, thanks to Hezballah one of the pilots was saved. Russia is mistaken if it thinks Turks can be trusted. There is growing strategic divergence between Russia and Iran over Syria now too.

Sinbad2

Russia never went into Syria to save Syria, it went in to stop the American gas pipeline, in retaliation for the US stopping South Stream. Most of the killing is done by Arabs killing other Arabs for money, why would anyone waste blood on such a duplicitous race?

d'Artagnan

Also warm water ports. But keep in mind that Turks are the most treacherous of all. Armenians have a lot of experience with Turkish savagery.

Sinbad2

Also long term Turkey is more important to Russia than Syria. Syria got themselves into this situation because of poor leadership, why people expect Russia to save Syrians from themselves is beyond me, they haven’t even managed to get back the Golan Heights after 52 years.

d'Artagnan

Turkey and Russia can never be friends, the Turks harbor strong anti-Russian sentiments due to the losses 17 successive defeats and enormous loss of territory at the hands of Russia since Peter the Great. Even today, Erdogan is playing Russia by working with Ukrainian Jews and fascists in recruiting headchoppers and sending them to the Caucasus. There is increasing Wahhabi activity in Azerbaijan, no wonder the IDF cyber unit 8200 has a Saudi flag flying inside its offices.

Sinbad2

I didn’t say that Russia and Turkey were friends, they have a working relationship. This is geopolitics, not romance.

d'Artagnan

I would even doubt that, since Turkey is the second largest NATO military and US has nuclear weapons stationed in Turkey and over a dozen bases. Russia selling its most sensitive armaments like the S-400 and possibly SU-57 is not real strategic geo-political thinking and will come back to haunt a post Putin Russia.

Sinbad2

“Russia selling its most sensitive armaments” First I have heard about Russia selling the SU-57 to anybody?

As for the S400, it makes the headlines because it can shoot down attacking American planes, it’s a defensive weapon and not a threat to Russia. If Russia could supply every country in the world with effective air defenses, it would only hurt the USA, not Russia.

Mustafa Mehmet

Two nato bases no Yankee bases..

Ma_Laoshi

There is a point in what you say, in that the Assad clan wasn’t exactly popular throughout Syria at the start of this conflict, in large part because of their own abuses–the standard weakness and dysfunction of any Arab state. And bonehead Bashar made it worse by implementing some “liberal reforms” which undermined and demoralized the SAA. And all because Obama promised that if only Damascus became more market oriented, he’d be friends with them, scout’s honor. SMH…

But the other side is that a large, powerful group of countries has thrown everything they have at Syria short of nuclear weapons: drones, tanks, guided missiles, two jihadi air forces (USAF/IAF), and most devastatingly a massive media operation, largely operating out of London. Could the Netherlands have been expected to defeat the German invasion in 1940? Can Venezuela be expected to stop the Green Machine all by itself today? Correct me if I’m wrong, but Russia (or rather its USSR predecessor) entered into a formal alliance treaty with Syria of its own free will. So yes, now they’re expected to come in with the cavalry and chase the bad guys away–that is, if there is any meaning to being a Russian ally.

jm74

Exactly. It is Syria’s conflict so why is Russia dictating terms? So far a major FU. Lavrov having a love affair with Kerry and US puts boots on the ground; Putin pulls out early and terrorists recover and when Russia returns those planes to Syria the US have established themselves. So who runs Syria. Assad or Putin? Mind you I have nothing against Russia but it does appear that Russia is playing a duel game with alternative motives. Syrians running away from Syria instead of defending their country is a show of cowardice, lack of patriotism.

Ma_Laoshi

See my other post below: Syria is under attack from a superpower; we are not in the Syrians’ shoes. Yes the country suffers from the usual Arab weaknesses, which means that tiny Israel usually runs circles around them with the exception of still-tinier Hezbollah.

That said, I think we’ve seen enough, and I’m coming to similar conclusions as you. Russia is not trying to crush the jihadists, it’s trying to … manage the problem. Crushing the islamists would upset the apple cart with their American, Israeli, Turkish and Saudi partners. And the last thing the Kremlin seems to want is that a free, confident Syria says: “Thanks Vlad, you have our eternal gratitude, but you can go home now; we’ll take it from here.” Russia doesn’t just speak like a Syrian ally, it increasingly openly speaks on behalf of “little Syria/West Syria” like Trump speaks on behalf of his East Syrian colony. To keep the gig going, Syria must stay weak and divided.

But by acting like one of the Imperial powers like it’s still 1890, Moscow displays its inability to spiritually extract itself from western thinking; Russia continues to beg for membership in a club in which it isn’t welcome. Anyway, all this is probably too simple, there are in fact various factions at work in Moscow and we’ll have to see how it’ll all play out.

jm74

Looks like you and I have come to the same conclusion. Disappointing because a lot of people had faith in Russia and it appears that Russia is acting out due to expediency and monetary gains like arms and energy sales. Russia had the chance to finish the job in 2017 and didn’t and that mistake creates doubt.

Jens Holm

d'Artagnan

The real issue is the Syrian terror campaign is now openly been fanned by Turkey, which is recruiting, arming and facilitating these headchoppers. Russia is weak, vacillating and could not stand up to Turkey and followed a policy of appeasement. It followed a similar pattern in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but Armenia acted in its own interest and annexed the region anyway. Syria needs to act in its own interest, even though it is dependent on Russian assistance. This was the message the Iranians delivered to Assad when he visited a few months ago. The Turkish agenda is more insidious as Erdogan wants to annex a large part of Syria’s most fertile lands and create a quasi quisling state like the Zionists tried in South Lebanon. If Syria resists, the Turks will never succeed.

Assad must stay (gr8rambino)

yes, syria should tell russia “i am going to take back as much of idlib as i can, and push these turkish fuckers out, WITH OR WITHOUT YOU!” hahaha

behind the curtains….. TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkey has ordered the terrorist groups stationed in Northern Syria to continue fighting the Syrian army and keep their positions until the 2019 G20 Osaka summit in Japan later this month in a bid to find a pressure leverage to stop the army’s military operations. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted dissident sources close to the Ankara-backed terrorists in Idlib as saying on Wednesday that the Turkish officers deployed in regions under the supervision of Ankara in Idlib province have ordered the terrorist commanders in Northern Hama, Southern Idlib and Northeastern Lattakia to launch preemptive attacks against the army-controlled areas and prevent the Syrian army forces’ advance. They added that Turkey insists on improvement of battlefield and military conditions of the so-called National Liberation Front, Jeish al-Izza and Tahrir al-Sham al-Hay’at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) terrorists in Hama, Idlib and Lattakia, noting that Ankara seeks to use the G20 summit in Osaka to meet his Russian and US counterparts and pressure them to prevent the Syrian army’s military operations. The sources said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wants to return to the de-escalation zone agreement with Russia through talks (after non-commitment) to it and following Moscow’s repeated opposition to Ankara’s demands for a ceasefire in Idlib and the adjacent areas. Relevant reports said last Monday that Turkey had ordered Tahrir al-Sham to reinforce strategic military positions in Jabal al-Zawiyeh in Idlib province after it turned down Russia’s demand for withdrawing militants from the region, the Arabic-language media outlets said. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper wrote that with an aim to confront the Syrian Army in Northern Hama, Tahrir al-Sham has sent large volumes of its military equipment to al-Jolmeh to North of Mahradeh. “Turkey’s intelligence body has asked Tahrir al-Sham and other terrorist groups in Northern Syria to reinforce its defense lines, including 50 towns and villages up to the city of Ariha in Aleppo-Lattakia international highway as clean-up operation by the Syrian and Russian armies in Jabal al-Zawiyeh in Idlib is imminent,” al-Watan quoted local and opposition sources in Idlib as saying. The sources reiterated that Turkey’s operations room in Shir Mughar region in Jabal Shahshabou in Northern Hama where terrorists are constantly supported in terms of weapons, ammunition and intelligence has warned terrorists that the Syrian army might soon capture Jbal Shahshabou which overlooks Sahl al-Ghab in Northwestern Hama and towns to the South of Idlib and then advance towards Jabal al-Zawiyeh. The al-Watan newspaper also further quoted the sources as saying that Russia had recently asked Turkey to make terrorists retreat from Jbal Shahshabou region in Northwestern Hama and Kabani town in Northeastern Lattakia which are regarded as the Southern and Western gates of Idlib, but Ankara has strongly turned down the demand. Meantime, the Arabic-language al-Youm news website quoted media activists in Idlib province as saying that after supplying advanced weapons to terrorists, Ankara has ordered them to launch new attacks in Northern Hama to recapture the town of al-Saqilbieh.

The terrorists did not made and has not made any violation of the ceasefire agreement because they never has made any agreement like that. The only agreement they have (with Israel-USA-NATO) is to destroy Syria and to make a partition of this country, as it is right now. The agreement was made between Russia and Turkey because Turkey wants to keep alive its terrorists at Idlib and to look the possibility to move to south part of Syria. Turkey is a NATO member, and this means that Turkey acts according to NATO regulations (although it does not pretend to do so). My point is that it looks like the mission of Turkey is to halt Russia in Syria (this is obvious), how ? through economical and commercial interest (buying S-400, gas pipe line, construction o a nuclear reactor). What we have seen so far is that Russia allows to do Turkey and Israel whatever they want in Syria.

Jens Holm

Errrh now again. Turkey use Nato regualtions about needed help, and we can see no. Its known as the musketeer oath even I canrt speel to it.

FlorianGeyer

You are drunk again ,Jens. Your ‘shpellyng’ is awful.

d'Artagnan

These barbarians are beyond redemption and only need to be eliminated. They are dead enders.

National Pride

Oh my God, the jihadists violated the ceasefire? What a fucking shock to the senses this news is!

Ma_Laoshi

Yup, if you concluded a ceasefire with people who have nada interest in ceasing their own fire, then there is a real question if you deserve any better. Seems we’re waiting for a bloody, costly missile/drone strike on a Russian base before the Teddybear comes out of hibernation. Wouldn’t be surprised if the SAA is also starting to wonder why they’re still protecting those foreigners.

Maybe SAA should try to Import 1000 houthi fighters, give them a map of what u wante to have conquered and let them do their work…….cause either Syrian Leadership is weak or treacherous……i´ve made my decision already a Long time ago…. since the Agreements with the worst headchoppers rapists torturers in aleppo when 7000+ jihadi headchoppers per Agreement with Russia were allowed to leave with light arms and their fucking jihadi families to Idlib. ps. just check the southfront articles from then………shiite militias and hezbollah went crazy when they heard of that bs Agreement and torched a dozen buses of the russians…..

Willing Conscience (The Truths

You have to remember that Assad forcibly conscripted 25,000 FSA fighters from Daraa and Qunitra into the SAA last year, as well as quite a few more from other rebel militias as well, and now they always make up at least half the front lines in any operations that occur [it was even more last year until mass defections occurred]. So the SAA don’t always have crack troops with high incentive in the front lines, at least half of them were ex rebel FSA fighters only a year ago, and probably half if not most of them would happily defect back if they thought they could [or got a chance]. Conscripted rebel fighters don’t make very good fighters at all, just good cannon fodder, I just feel sorry for the Loyal SAA that have to serve alongside them, they get killed too.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

“HTS’ new attacks indicate that the group and its allies are not willing to accept any peaceful agreement what so ever. This leaves the door open for future ground operations by the SAA”.

I would have thought that meant the door was completely shut on any possible negotiations, and it also meant an eminent SAA offensive was inevitable, but who knows anymore.

FlorianGeyer

The Syrian war is the most complicated conflict for a century and there is no quick solution for the SAA and allies.

In my opinion the SAA amd allies have, even now, achieved victories that the US Coalition of Terror NEVER envisaged.

It is rather like the election of Trump. Few thought he had any chance of winning. I am happy to brag that I and an American friend did think he would win, and I won a nice amount of cash with a bet on Trump :)

Willing Conscience (The Truths

I agree this war is complicated, but I also think it’s changed into another war now. Back in June last year it looked like the conflict in Syria was coming to an end, the Israelis/US/Arab league [minus Qatar]/most of the EU, all said Assad could remain in power, and right up until now not one of those parties have changed that endorsement, not even the Israelis, who as you know are still bombing Iranian and Syrian targets in Syria, but STRANGELY still saying Assad can stay. I don’t know what you think about that, but I think it means the Israelis actually prefer Assad to Erdogan now, Assad’s actually become the lesser of 2 evils. I believe Trump would like to end the war in Syria and get out altogether, it’s just the neo con warhawks in the government bureaucracies stopping a US withdrawal, or at least it was before Erdogan’s last threat to invade. And I believe Trump just like the Israelis, now thinks Assad’s the lesser of 2 evils too. Trump winning the US election made it the best one I’ve ever lived through [I’m not US], it was totally memorable, but what was even better and more memorable, was the post election celebrity hissyfits I got to watch, over and over and over again, LOL. I’m glad you made a fistful of cash from that bet, and I’d be even happier if you made it with a cry baby left wing fanatic, that’d be even sweeter. Lucky I’m not a betting man, I would have lost money if I’d placed a bet on the last Australian Federal election, my side won even though all the media were saying they were going to lose, so I would have bet against my own team if I’d had a bet, and lost money. I should have learned the lesson your US election taught me, don’t believe the msm fake news.

TEHRAN (FNA)- French-Dutch joint delegations have arrived in Kurdish-held regions in Raqqa in line with supporting their separatist objective in Syria, opposition sources told the state daily on Wednesday. The Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted Syrian opposition sources as saying that a joint delegation from French and Dutch foreign ministries have recently met with People’s Protection Units (YPG) commanders in Raqqa Province. The newspaper noted that the meeting was held in line with supports from separatist objectives of the Kurdish fighters in Northeastern Syria, and said that the French delegation has declared its full preparedness to provide military, diplomatic and political support for these forces in Northeastern Syria. Meantime, the Dutch-French delegation is to hold two meetings in Paris on June 25 and June 27 to review the manner of support for these forces with cooperation of France, Holland, the US and the UK as well as other countries. In a relevant development in May, tens of trucks carrying the US military and logistical aids had been dispatched to the areas under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Eastern Euphrates despite declaring the end of the ISIL by Washington, media sources said. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a convoy comprising 60 trucks containing logistic and military consignments as well as prefabricated houses was sent to Eastern Euphrates via Simalka crossing in Northern Iraq. The SOHR also reiterated that about 20 trucks have also been sent to Kobani Airport and Kharab Ashk military base in Northern Aleppo, and said that the remaining of military aid was also sent to the areas under SDF control in al-Jazira region in Deir Ezzur province. Also in May, media reports said that the Kurdish forces backed by the US-led coalition have prepared to launch military offensive against the Syrian Army and resistance forces in Deir Ezzur Province. The Turkish-language Anatoly news agency quoted local sources as saying that after taking control of Eastern Euphrates region, the Kurdish fighters are preparing to launch an attack on Damascus-backed forces in Eastern Euphrates in Deir Ezzur. It noted that the US-led coalition forces are training the Kurdish fighters in Ain Issa bases in Raqqa province and al-Amr oil region in Eastern Deir Ezzur, adding that the trainings include passing through mobile bridges and rivers. The US-led coalition forces and Kurdish fighters are looking for winning the support of regional tribes for launching the attack after residents of the region called for holding massive protests in Eastern Euphrates and called for expulsion of US-backed Kurdish fighters. Meantime, the US-led Kurdish militants have held meetings with tribal leasers in al-Amr oil zone.

TEHRAN (FNA)- US security firms have sent tens of personnel to at Ein al-Assad airbase in Western al-Anbar in line with Washington’s plan to redeploy large amounts of military equipment and weapons systems from Jordan and Syria in Iraqi province. The Arabic-language website of al-Ma’aloumeh news website quoted a security source in al-Anbar as saying on Tuesday that the security firms’ personnel have arrived in Ein al-Assad on special planes and under tight security measures. He added that the new group came to Ein al-Assad concurrent with the transfer of military and engineering equipment from Jordan and Syria to the airbase by their security firms and in line with the US plans to transfer military equipment to the Western parts of al-Anbar. The source also said that recently, the US security firms have started patrolling missions in the Western towns of Iraq. A former Iraqi legislator disclosed last week that the US had established 17 military bases in Iraq and deployed F35 fighter jets in Ein al-Assad airbase. Al-Ma’aloumeh quoted Mohammad al-Dayeni as saying that Washington had set up 17 military bases in Iraq. He added that the US had also deployed Spirit (stealth) fighter jets in Ein al-Assad, adding that the F-35 fighters which had earlier been stationed in the airbase fly on a daily basis to spy on Iran. Al-Dayeni said that the US forces had specified 63,000 targets in and outside Iraq for attacks, including the positions of Hashd al-Shaabi (Iraqi popular forces). Meantime, a prominent Iraqi political expert revealed late last month that Washington continued to increase the number of its troops in Iraq, warning of the US plots to make aggression against the neighboring states. Sabah al-Akili told al-Ma’aloumeh that the number of US forces had increased in Iraq despite the general demand by the Iraqi people for their withdrawal. He added that the US forces’ attacks on Iraqi security forces indicated that they were combat forces and were not deployed for advising or training purposes. Al-Akili underlined that expansion of Ein al-Assad airbase, extension of its runway and deployment of Patriot missile systems at the base showed that Washington intended to stay in Iraq for the long-run, specially given the reports that the US planned to use Iraq as a platform to attack the neighboring states and was, thus, sending more forces to its bases in Iraq.
