Humanitarian Aid Convoy Escorted By Russian Forces Enters Al-Rukban Camp – Report

Support SouthFront

On November 3, a humanitarian aid convoy of the U.N. consisting of dozens of trucks entered the al-Rukban refugee camp near the Syrian-Jordanian border, according to the Reuters news agency. This was the first aid convoy to enter the camp in the last nine months.

“The first convoys have entered the camp,” Abu Abdullah, a member of the civilian council that runs the camp told Reuters.

Meanwhile, the Russian Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria announced that a unit of the Russian Military Police and three helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces had escorted the U.N. aid convoy on its way from the Syrian capital of Damascus to the 55km de-escalation zone around the area of al-Tanaf, where the al-Rukban camp is located.

“On our part, we have fulfilled all tasks on ensuring the safety of the humanitarian convoy,” Lt. Gen. Vladimir Savchenko said, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

The U.S. and its proxies publicly ignore that the al-Rukban camp is located within the area occupied by them around al-Tanaf and blame the Damascus government and Russia for the deteriorating humanitarian conditions inside the camp. However, even some mainstream media and public figures, like former U.S. ambassador to Damascus Robert Ford, do not support this false narrative.

HUMANITARIAN AID ESCORTED by RUSSIANS …Something you dont Hear USA doing HUMANITARIAN AID

seawolf

Us delivers only bombs and hate, occasionally they deliver “democracy” too.

Tudor Miron

With such “democracy” there’s no need for fascism.

seawolf

indeed.

Jens Holm

Baathist are a kind of fascism.

Django

Fear, hatred, envy and revenge are the order words of the ‘axis of evil’ going from Washington DC, London City, Vatican City and Tel Aviv.

Jens Holm

And dont forget Your own balcony :)

Jann Patrick

Don’t forget all the freedom, delivered free of charge and 100% bio-degradeable.

iosongasingsing

Yes, it is the democracy that Israel imports into Palestine and which the Christian Zionists of Satan export all over the world.

Jens Holm

You not even know, what democrasy is…

BMWA1

I think the point is, Al TAnf artillery emplaced by Trump regime will fire on Syrian auxiliaries but not Russian ones, these are only lightly armed RU forces lacking heavy weapons, that has some implications…more Syrian territory in future might be liberated with a mix of 95% SAA and 5% RU.

Jens Holm

It make sense. But convoys seldom are of the Baathista kind but neutral UN.In that russians do have many trucks as their part of it.

Luke Hemmming

Too bloody right. Russia is about the only country that is actually doing anything to help the civilians with food and medicine aid. The US with all it’s BS about it been a champion of human rights aint doing jack shit!

Hisham Saber

China has helped Syria in enormous ways, trhey are just very silent about it. Then you have Iran which has helped too. Lebanon, Hezbollah has committed itself to help their brethren in Syria.

Jens Holm

USSR are just the transporters as their part of it.

Dont You have internet.

Jens Holm

Russins are just the truck part. Its financed by UN. And Russian has to be there or else Assads take it and redestinate it to them.

Brian Michael Bo Pedersen

Assad is not stupid, so why would he steal the supplies and then get UN against him? ISIS or other alike would take the supplies if there was no escort, Russia just have the Manpower, equipment and Intel to be able to provide sufficient and prober escort.

Bhattarai Sunil

https://youtu.be/MZyYPkCPCwY open the link if anyone wants to know about the RUSSAIN PENSION REFORM AND HYPE SURROUNDING IT….with explanation

wwinsti

The reforms you propose for the pension changes were extremely interesting. I’m not sure why you posted them in an article about Al tanf.

Jens Holm

Maybee lack of food :)

Jim Bim

What has this to do with the article?

Django

Do not know why you immediately changes the subject, but if you want to lecture Putin, then take a good look to the west where the pension reforms are much more drastic and dishonest … What I do know is that the day that I will retire will feel like I am in heaven. But the day that the Middle East will find peace, it will be heaven on earth as all evil will disappear to hell, … and hopefully forever!

Jens Holm

Most pension economy in west is not like that. But You can find semilar conditions in Greece and Italy.

But You also have to add the other parts of the reforms and why so early reforms has been given as payment for even Youngers. So parts of that is homogenisations to the rest of EU.

Besides that You ignore or forget those live 10-20 years longer then the russians and by that and better healt care actuqally can work and support themselves for more years.

Of course You in that should include, there are jobs.

Thats a very big difference.

John

Pension reform huh? Well buddy, how about taking a gander at numerous state pension funds in the US itself. They are about broke. New Jersey for one, is facing something it cannot overcome and it is not alone. Your posting of this video here is either intentionally commited stupidity or a gross mistake. My take on this nonsense.

Jens Holm

Well, I only can see his Youtube is out of context but very true.

Pension is very different systems in many countries, and I do agree in USA are very mixted in that and too many have a very poor time being old.

I only see the “Sanders” have an idea about, what it is about. And there are almost none for change in the local states as well.

I hope You bip-bip about it now and then.

John

Hello Jens. Pension reform is a major issue that will financially stagger the US economy with a few decades, if not sooner.

Besides, I won’t give break to somebody, posting their very first post, off topic and in a redirectional way. It’s game. This is not a conscious person posting. I see it as something trying to muddy the water. could be anybody, including NSA/CIA types. But, that one passed right by you didn’t it. ;)

Jens Holm

No, they wont stagger. They do work in many versions in many countries and very well too.

My pension is in 3 steps. 1) Goverment pension 2) FORCED pension as a part of my salery and until pension age invested in stockings and loans and 3) Because of keepin the inflation lower money vound by the Goverment also invested i rewarded loans. We also can have a fourth type, where You when You retire fx at the age of 67 get a large sum.

Type 2 is given for every job to Your own account even oif You only workk there a day or for many years but is not in all kind of jobs in my country.

They mainly are in the Union areas.

You are totally wrong about the staggering. Those money are reinvested by our pension fonds, and You get extra money to spend from the retire added to Your Ground pension.

True its a delay, but it also make less fluctuations because those billions and billions cant dissapear by earing and visiting Mount Everest.

John

You, are probably in for a very nasty surprise Jens. Let’s just sit back and watch what happens.

Hisham Saber

Posted by a slavish western and Jew loving moronic, idol worshipping Hindu of course.

Jens Holm

If there was a Nobel price for bad explanations, You would be a winner.

Jens Holm

Well descriebed. Russians are not able to make the cake bigger even a lot should be easy. I wonder why they dont strip the oligarks.

Jim Bim

This news will not be covered by the MSM.

You can call me Al

Maybe it will – something like “Russia is pushing for war with the US”

…… Large scale convoys inclusive of scores of vehicles, helicopters and military personnel have left Damascus and are storming towards the US’s military encampment in Al-Tanf.

The US Al-Tanf base is purely there for humanitarian issues to protect Syrians opposed to Assad’s brutal regime”.

Jim Bim

Lol….Exactly!!

Jens Holm

Its well covered here as well as in many other medies.

But You forget, that the rest of the world has to be covered too -. and they blame medies not to cover well as well.

John

This is actually pretty big. It puts a lot of pressure on the US coalition installation in Al-tanf.

PZIVJ

This is a positive step. Jordan has not allowed an aid convoy to pass their border since January. Now time for Russia and Damascus to be involved in relocating these people, this builds trust :)

John

I agree.

Once that camp is gone, Al-Tanf becomes isolated, for all intents and purposes. It also eliminates a location from which ‘stockpiled’ takfiris can be housed and deployed. This pushes the US back a step and they cannot afford even a whiff of that to be seen in broad daylight. I see it as one of those small pieces of news that show the environment is changing dramatically in Syria. My best to you PZIVJ.

Sinbad2

I’m surprised the US/Israel didn’t attack the aid convoy, maybe the Russians scared the dogs?

Hisham Saber

You kidding. If that would have happened, and Russians would have died, that would be the end of the Zionist entity occupying Palestine.

The Il-20 incident was one thing too many, another attack and Russia will take the kiddie gloves off for real.

Jens Holm

That too. Its Sin Bad again.

Jens Holm

I am not surpriced You are surpriced. So US/Israel should attack an UN convoy ?

Where do You see russian flags. I think I see a UN flag.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

This is only half the problem solved, there’s at least half of the 7000 refugees that don’t want to be here at all, they want to return to safe SAA territory and get on with their lives. But the other half are more or less holding them hostage here and not allowing them to leave. Which surprises me no end, because just a few months ago a deal was struck, whereby one of the US backed rebel groups was allowed to pack up leave, taking all their families and light weapons, and then departing for Aleppo to join the terrorists there [on Syrian buses], and all in return for the guaranteed safe exodus for any of the refugees that wanted to leave the camp, but we’re still waiting for that to happen. Now we have half the refugees that have sympathies to either Isis or the rebel alliance, living alongside refugees that don’t, and the food and medicine is going to be shared out equally, I don’t think so, the pro Isis and pro rebel refugees run the camp and stand over the others. The pro Assad refugees may get some relief from this UN aid, but unless the UN completely control all aspect of it’s delivery, I’m sure the anti Assad refugees will benefit the most from this aide delivery, the others will still be hungry sick and afraid. Hopefully this delivery will be the prelude to more action concerning the genuine refugees trapped here, they need to get out.

Jens Holm

Thats bias of the worst kind. Those dont want to live in Idlib in tents under Assad control at all. Almost all are from the Eufrat vallay and certainly dont prefare ISIS as well as Damaskus.

If there aren 7.000 at all its because Assads has promised to starve them until they will give up.

How can You ever write crap like that unless You are well paid by Damaskus or Ankara.

Bill Rood

How do you know all that? Have you been to al-Rukban and interviewed the residents? Do you have a relationship with those who have invaded Syria and made war on its people? Every other day we hear of more civilians buried under the rubble of al-Raqqa. We know they’re civilians because most are women and children, and the US escorted most of the fighters to Deir ez-Zor to fight the SAA when it was about to lift the siege on that city.

Eezy Green

Holms, are you a Zionist youknowWhoo?

Willing Conscience (The Truths

What are you talking about, Idlib Tents Assad control? Most of the areas around the US exclusion zone where the refugee camp is situated, is under SAA control already Duhhh. If it wasn’t for the US funded and equipped rebels, who live and train near the US base [their families live in the refugee camp], and the Isis fighters that live and hide in the 55 km exclusion zone around the area [their families also live in the refugee camp], IT WOULD BE TOTALLY SAFE. Assad isn’t forcing them to stay at all, it’s the exact opposite, he’s been demanding that the US allow the refugees to leave, and doing it for at least 4 or more months now, even the Russian have said the US is complicit in creating circumstances whereby the refugees have been stopped from leaving. The US backed rebels don’t want to lose their human shields, they may not be protecting the rebels and the Isis fighters from SAA bullets and bombs, but they are serving the purpose of allowing the murderers to remain there unmolested, and get free medical care and food, the US can save some money now and let the UN pay for it instead. So you don’t believe your rebel heroes are standing over any of the camp refugees that have pro Assad leanings, or even simply just want to reconcile and get back to some semblance of a normal life, don’t be so naive, in Idlib and Aleppo your hero rebels are murdering anyone that even thinks about reconciliation with Assad, but not here hey.
