The Kyiv regime supported by Western warmongers continue to shout about the alleged Russian war crimes, whipping up international hysteria after the recent strike on the Ukrainian military in Sumy, which unfortunately resulted in civilian casualties. LINK, LINK While the MSM is busy blaming the Russians, unpunished Kiev itself is launching massive strikes on the civilian population in the city of Kursk.

On the night of April 15th, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a large-scale drone assault on the Russian territory. Unlike in usual attacks, the Ukrainian military deliberately pounded the residential areas in civilian infrastructure in the corder city of Kursk with more than a hundred drones. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, in total, Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 115 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) across five regions, with 109 of them shot down over the Kursk region alone.

Despite these efforts, multiple drones struck apartment buildings, sparking fires across the city, including on Zavodskaya and Orlovskaya streets. Acting Kursk Governor Alexander Khinstein condemned the attack as a “terrorist act” by the Kyiv regime, emphasizing that over 20 residential buildings were damaged, three of them severely. Ukrainian drones crashed into a garage housing emergency medical vehicles, while other damaged a gas pipeline, cutting off supply to nearly 200 households.

Unfortunately, the massive attack resulted in casualties. An 85-year-old woman was killed, and at least nine others were injured, six of whom required hospitalization.

Ukrainian attacks on civilians continue in all border regions. Two civilians were wounded in the DPR. In the Kherson region, three civilians were killed and six injured over the past day alone. 10 villages were attacked in the Central Belgorod region. One person was injured.

According to the preliminary data, 104 civilians were injured by Ukrainian attacks over the past week. 85 people were injured, including 8 minors, 19 people were killed, including 2 children.

The strikes on Kursk were followed by another series of Ukrainian attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, violating a temporary ceasefire agreement on energy facilities. Six more attacks were recorded in the Kursk, Bryansk, Kherson regions over the past day alone. These daily attacks continue despite earlier assurances from Kyiv about avoiding strikes on civilian energy grids. From March 18 to April 14, the Ukrainian military violated the decision to stop attacks on energy facilities 101 times.

In response, Russian forces are launching precision strikes on Ukrainian military positions and critical infrastructure across the country, without targeting energy facilities so far. Last night, Russian strikes were recorded in Kharkiv, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. A Ukrainian stronghold in Kharkiv Oblast was destroyed by Russian Molniya drones, while a military-industrial facility in Kharkiv city suffered heavy damage. Ukrainian air defense reported intense Russian drone activity over central and eastern regions. According to the Ukrainian military, in total, 52 UAVs and an Iskander-M missile targeted Ukraine last night. 26 UAVs were allegedly destroyed, but numbers provided by Ukrainian authorities can rarely be trusted.

The escalation highlights Kyiv’s increasing reliance on asymmetric warfare, targeting civilians as its frontline forces struggle with heavy losses and recruitment shortages. Meanwhile, Russia’s retaliatory strikes demonstrate its continued ability to degrade Ukrainian military and logistical capabilities. The attacks on Kursk mark one of the largest UAV assaults on a Russian city in recent months. With no signs of de-escalation, the conflict continues to intensify, with civilians on both sides paying the price.

Sorin

russia must take off its gloves and bomb all of ukraine very heavily. all energy installations, all factories that support the ukrainian army, all access routes through which western aid comes to ukraine, all residential neighborhoods so that ukrainians can also feel what it’s like to bomb civilians. there is no other solution, ukraine must be destroyed.
