Discussions on the transfer of Western fighter jets to Ukraine continue, but none of the NATO countries are ready to take the initiative.
US President Joe Biden once again claimed that the US will not supply Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets. Despite the fact that the discussion on this issue intensified after the decision to transfer tanks to Ukraine.

why offering so much money for these tank destruction? leo2 and m1 abrams are good tanks, but they have some weak points, like the top of the turrets, the gap between turret and hull, the weakly armored ammo store on the turrets rear, and also the weak only 56mm thin upper frontal armor plate of the m1 abrams hull. so even a t62 should not have any bigger problems to penetrate these points. also because of the lack of any reactive armor or hard kill systems of the promised western tanks, all standard russian atgms should be effective too.

Of the weapons being proposed, ATACMS is the only one that is if concern, and just because it would normalise long range missile strikes on Russia. It is a smokescreen for possible nuclear attack.
