On August 31, the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) blew up two bridges in the al-Ghab Plain in the northwestern Hama countryside in order to slow down any future attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies, according to the Syrian news outlet Enab Baladi.
The pro-opposition news outlet also revealed that NFL fighters attempted to destroy a third bridge in the area of al-Hwaiz. However, the locals prevented the Turks-backed group from doing that.
The remaining militants in northern Syria took several measures to secure their last positions over the last few weeks. According to Syrian opposition activists, large fortifications were built between southwestern Aleppo and northern Lattakia. Moreover, hundreds of civilians were arrested for “supporting the reconciliation process.”
These strict measures reflect the panic among militants, who fear that the SAA and its allies will soon launch an offensive on their positions. Such an attack will put an end to the militant’s plan to establish a de facto state in the northwestern part of Syria.
just slowing down the inevitable, SAA will bring its own bridges like in dez :)))
Militants are hoping Turkey will prevent the Idlib offensive like Daraa militants hoped for that Israel and Jordan will stop SAA attack on Daraa. But we saw what happened there.I dont think Idlib will put a lot of resistance, only the most hardline elements like the foreign fighters.
you are back!!! oh how ive missed you and your comments :)))
Yeah I decided to come back.A lot of stuff have happened since I was last here.Daraa was liberated faster than I expected.
very glad you decided to come back! yes it happened much faster than i expected as well. things are very tense now, the final battle in idlib, FUKUS preparing to attack again, i hope theres a happy ending in all of this lol

The foreign fighters are the resistance.
Lol – this wont stop the offensive.Idlib should be liberated by the end of the year.I dont think all rebels will resist, some of them will reconcile like in Daraa and Ghoua.
But what if SAA get’s it feet wet?
