The Libyan National Army (LNA) have been expanding its control in the area east of the city of Sirte. LNA units have advanced west of Mintaqat Wadi Harawah. Some sources describe these developments as a sign of the preparations for a wider effort to retake Sirte.
At the same time, reports appear that the LNA is mobilizing troops southeast of Bani Walid, which is another expected target of the LNA.
