I was kind of worried about Harad and the Wadi. Not anything of great military significance, but it looked like a cauldron forming. While I was scratching my head about Harad, the Houthis whacked the head of Pro-Hadi Intelligence Service and the Pro-Hadi Deputy Chief of Staff last month.
Yesterday, they killed the new First Section Commander of the Pro-Hadi Special Forces sent up to the area. Now it looks like the Houthis might cut off the loyalists trying to encircle Haradh.
Saudis went nuts yesterday and bombed whatever Houthis they could find in the area. So the Saudi’s three-month long campaign to take over Haradh as stalled, and the Houthis are mowing down Pro-Hadi commanders and soldiers with minimal loss (save for the occasional lucky F-15 strike).
