The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has strengthened and expanded its positions on the contact line with the Turkish-occupied area in northern Syria. It should be noted that the SAA and the Russian Military Police also expanded the areas of its patrols near the town of Manbij, which indicates the expanding cooperation between the Damascus government and the Kurdish-dominated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
Right decission from Syria, Russia and Kurds.
Hopefully the Kurds will handover the entire area of Manbidsch to the Damascus government soon
I have Predicted a few Years ago.
This war will Last for 10’s of years.
Me too. But it won’t last for so long. It will end in war between Tukey and everybody around. With the end of Turkey.
Hummm…Oghuz are very resistant. Never understimated an all people.
The Syrian war was over back in July last year, this is the Erdogan war now, it has a max of 12 months before it’s over too, probably even less, and Turkey will have a new leader soon afterwards. You can’t fight a war without money, and Erdogan doesn’t have any.
As Antoun could said, excellente news!
Ceylanpinar in Turkey and Ras Al Ayn in Syria are the places to be watching now, not anywhere near where the Russians or US forces are, even Kobani is a more likely spot for the Turkish invasion now. But I’ve been checking out just how many men and how much equipment Erdogan has been sending to just east of Ceylanpinar, it’s enough for a small invasion force and only made up of Turkish regular troops, no proxie’s at all, just well trained and equipped Turkish troops with the best tanks and artillery, nothing crappy at all, that’s looking suspiciously like an elite invasion force to me. The Arab/Kurdish town of Ras Al Ayn sits on the most perfect highway setup an invading army could want, it has east, west, south, and northern supply lines, it’s only a few km from the Turkish border, and has all the eastern Kurdish territory sitting just to the east of this town ripe for a Turkish invasion. If I was Erdogan this is where my invasion would start, especially if everyone was looking the wrong way, then it’s only a few Km south to the oilfields in Deir ez Zor or a few km east to hit the Kurds in their own homelands, just as they did to the western enclave of Kurds, PERFECT SPOT for an invasion.
