And we witness the closing of yet another pocket. Wash, rinse, repeat…

I feel a crossing north of Mayadin in the making. Better hurry up before the SDF gets there to welcome you.

gold37

I agree, and there may even be crossings, shorter distance to the one in DeZ city.

Eagle123

Especially i am worried about multiple airdrops in and around omar oil fields, which would be very bad for the Syrian government if SDF does it.

Barba_Papa

Yeah, but any airdrop that far from Kurdish lines runs the risk of being of being overrun. The main weapon of airborne troops is surprise. Once the surprise runs out and the enemy can get their shit back in order then the shit will hit the airborne fan. That’s the lesson of operation Market Garden. Or the battle of the Hague.

Xanatos

The Kurds surrendered Kirkuk, it’s huge oil field will fall out of autonomous Kurdish hands. This means hundreds of billions of dollars of oil deals with exxon, BP, and total are worthless. Irbil will soon be in financial difficulty, they borrowed heavily on the assumption they had Iraqi oil.

The US Always planned to betray the Kurds in Syria too. They never intended to create a viable rojava. The only reason they are grabbing Syrian oil fields is to have leverage in future peace negotiations.

DJ Double D

They never owned Kirkuk and the oil fields to begin with.

Nucu

it was too much for US to fok up Iraq too. Unfortunatley in Syria a SDF-SAA conflict will probably happen since probably 70% of SDF manpower is made from mercenaries and IS/rebel soldiers.

John Brown

The SDF just collapsed in less then 2 days in Kirkuk they are a joke. They never beats ISIS as we can now see they were secret allies ISIS let them have territory according to the wishes of their mutual masters racist supremacist Jews.
