The Iranian news agency IRIB has released a series of photos showing an Iranian C-130 military transport plane dropping aid and ammunition to the besieged towns of Fua and Kefraya in the Syrian province of Idlib.

These towns are located within the militant-held part of the province. However, they are still controlled by the pro-government National Defense Forces.

Good to see the lifeline still open, history has taught us though that this isn’t a sustainable model. Maybe a renewed push should be considered unless a evaluation deal can actually be reached and maintained!?

Ronald

Those two towns are Christian and during the Aleppo campaign some deals were arranged, however Al Nusra failed to honor their end.

Pacificnorthwest

They are in part being defended by Hezbollah fighters there. Hezbollah has been fighting and dying in Syria and in Iraq to defend besieged Chritian communities from the brutal medieval savagery of the salafist head choppers that are allied with Israel and financed by Saudi Arabia.

Garga

Actually there was a deal but they sent suicide bombers to the convoys (mainly women and children) and killed more than 100 (attracting children and women who were on the bus for hours with drinks and toys and then they blew the truck carrying the toys).

Recently the Syrian government tried to make a new deal with terror groups for evacuation of these 2 towns but the residents refused to board the buses because they couldn’t trust the terror groups not to pull something like the last time again.

A normal human being wouldn’t harm children and unarmed women, but these terrorists don’t see them as humans and think they guaranteed heaven for themselves by killing “infidels”. That’s what Wahhabism reserves for all of us.

Ronald

Garga, Thank you for reminding us, their sabotage of that deal almost jeopardized the whole evacuation of the Wahhabi jihadists from east Aleppo. That was probably the intent, calmer minds saw it through. Wahhabism is certainly a problem for mankind.

Israhell must be in hysterical manner now.. lol

Imagine Bibi’s face . He said that his wonderful Israeli Air Force destroyed all the Iranian military capabilities in Syria.. And now THIS ! :))

…. Now the Syrian on soil shall put a big-big ISIS-flag down there and mark a “landing-place” (SIC!) …… so that the US, British and Israeli supply planes shall drop the supplies for ISIS by them :))))

SFC Steven M Barry USA RET

The Load Master did a good job. Despite the people who built the pallets (not a dig).

You can call me Al

The pallets are functional – no worries.

Jakke1899

Iranians dropping supplies with a US-made aircraft, how ironic is that!

Siegfried

These are remains from the Shah Reza-Pahlavi.Ariamer Maybe from the 100 they got, they use parts for a few still working. The Germans have some older “Yankee- C-Series planes” even worse: “Transal” :))) IRAN still has F-14 A “Tomcat” (That ones seen in the “Top-Gun”-movie with Tom Cruise) But they are used as “AWACS”, while their RADARS has a range of ~ 150-200 miles (If I’m not wrong with the RADAR-range) and they may stay in the air hours. Were thought to fight over OCEANS as Fleet-Defenders and could be placed far away from the carriers ( around 700 miles, if I remember well). Were taken-out of duty in September 2006 by the US Navy and replaced with.. the f*king short-öange and smaller (!!!! BUT BUSH-CHENEY-business-fighters A/F 18 Hornet.

Then the Navy complained taht the Hornets “die quick” because of less fuel and the range isn’t even near to the F-14 Tomcats. So BOEING (BUSH-business and interest) “made ” “Super-Hornet, a little more fuel, TWO SEATS (!!) and got a “F-14 on diet” :)) On eof the reasons ( the bla-bla, of course, was that the F/A 18 Hornet needs only ONE man in the cockpit :)) Now they are TWO again … and everybody keeps the mouth shut.. but the BUSH/Boeing pushed away the good Northrop-GRUMMAN ( 6that make the B-2) by that action. Money is more important than US Navy defensive capacities :)) One REAL reason was that the F-14 Tomcat was HEAVY ( bad for the catapult and the, the hook on fighter and the cables by landings. Plus the expensive mechanic ( variable geometry of the wings). And a lot of TITAN-parts. Well… some of the reasons were real ( F-14 was not good for a dog-fight, a single SU-30 MK eats by breakfast 3-4 Tomcats, That days, the F-14 was my favorite fighter.. ~ 25 years ago. But “Sic Transit Gloria Mundi!”.. But F/A-18 Hornet is a bad joke, compared to a F-14-Tomcat.

Marvin Joel Zavala López

F/A-18 Hornets are not meant to air to air combat… They are meant for bombing weedings and civilians parties.

Turbofan

thats what I thought

You can call me Al

You know, I didn’t think of that. Well spotted.

I hope they can drop some food and medicine for Yemeni people too but United States of America is preventing them from going there! Saudi Arabia and its allies including Israel are working to eliminate, starve Yemeni women and children. Stop ? it now. thank you Iran ?? your help.

Siegfried

The CHINESE could supply the Yemenites by sending CARGOS with containers flanked by their war-ships. Who dares to bomb a CHINESE supply-ship ?.. No one? :)))))))))

Real Anti-Racist Action

The united states is not preventing it. It is Saudi Arabia and UAE and Israel. For the record, Israel has now bombed Yemen with F-35i’s and a one time strike as a practice run for later bombing Iran. Israel got to refuel in Saudi Arabia.

Pacificnorthwest

Boycott the apartheid criminal enterprise of Israel. Zionists are the enemies of humanity… let us all join together to eradicate this evil ideology from our world

Turbofan

These 2 towns require liberation

Garga

The irony!

An American-made airplane, dropping something on civilians and actually NOT raining down death, destruction and misery on the receiving end of drop. Lockheed must be furious for such blatant taking advantage of this bird!

Godspeed.

The Iranian people and their military are admirable, fine young men who deserve worldwide praise and respect. They have never been aggressors against anyone. It’s a shame we got neocon morons like Bolton and Pompeo now running the white house spouting off aggressive rhetoric towards the Iranians. It would be so much better, for everyone involved, if we made an honest effort at mutual respect, normalized relations, and opened up to trade with Iran.
