The so-called Afrin Liberation Forces (ALF) declared that they had destroyed a vehicle of “the Turkish Army” in the area of Maranaz in northern Syria.
The ALF is a brand used by the Kurdish People’s Protetion Units (YPG), which are in fact backed by the US, to hide its operations against the Turkish Army and its proxies.
The area of Maranaz was place of intense clashes between the ALF/YPG and Turkey-led forces.

They’re finally learning that its better to target Turkish troops directly, rather then just kill some Turkish employed FSA Orcs. Orcs are bountiful and multiply like flies, what does Erdogan care about a few dead Orcs. Dead Turkish soldier is harder to explain away from him. And on the plus side this might occupy his attention more then the current SAA operation into Idlib. Win-win!
