The most amazing feat is how Iran has been able to keep the Americunt helicopters including the captured Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion in pristine condition for 40 years. The Americunt losers left these at Tabas when the operation failed. These were supplemented by five U.S. Navy examples that were abandoned during failed Operation Eagle Claw in 1980 as US “Delta force” fled leaving behind their dead and all equipment and operational plans.
Actually what amazed me, is the size of their fleet – 2 x as big as the UK one, however, we do have 2 x aircraft carriers…….. WITH NO AIRCRAFT !!. God, we are a shambles.
With the US-led decades long sanctions against Iran, it was forced (as also in the case of South Africa) to either develop its own defense industry, form military contacts with non-US lapdogs or be another victim of US invasion. Yes, the ability to maintain and upgrade equipment like the CH-53, UH-1, AH-1 Cobra, F-14, F-5 and F-4 is indeed an accomplishment. Development of anti-ship, anti-aircraft, anti-aircraft and battlefield missiles is also praiseworthy. Any country that has the means and very importantly, the national will, to fight back will always be perceived by the evil, mental degenerates in Washington, DC as an enemy.
