A fresh series of photos has appeared online showing alleged Russian-linked private military contractors  near the government-controlled city of Khanasir in the Syrian province of Aleppo. The photos have been allegedly made south of Khanasir. On December 20, an intese fighting between pro-government forces and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) was reported near this area.

The photos show a Russian-made BPM-97 Vystrel 4×4 wheeled mine-resistant, ambush protected vehicle and two fighters with the patches of the so-called Turan group.

Turan is often refered as “USSR Spetsnaz”, with most members coming from the former Soviet republics of Central Asia and the Caucasus. The group has own uniforms and is reported to be about 1,000 men strong. According to reports, Turan operates in a close coordination with the Syrian Arab Army and other pro-government factions and often takes part in regular battles against the terrorists.

Yes the Russians as Putin said, are leaving, but now is the time for the real Russians to replace the regular army, that its hands are tight, by international politics and pretension of upholding the international law.

What is coming now to become the reality of the land, it be them and us. One of the two kinds… it will cease to exist when this dance is over.

Any pictures of the U.S. private contractors? Or, is it simply U.S. private contractors have been institutionalized into military strategy without fanfare – more and more? My point is: What’s the point in dwelling on such a mundane subject except for propaganda purposes? “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”

As far as I am concerned any mercenaries, whether turkish, iranian, lebanese, iraqi, afghan and yes, even US mercenaries, are fair game to all armed Syrians, of whatever political persuasion. If one fights for coin, one deserves lead and not silver.

I could partially agree with this one with you Netherlander. But let us proceed further with your statement. If any one is working/supporting the oppressor and aggressor that NATO states represent in Syria, than with the same logic you wrote he/she should deserve nothing but lead… Russian private company is there to restore order (helping legal state armed groups) and destroy throat cutters/rapers/killers your beloved NATO fascist brought to this beautiful country. And they are clearly opposite to your abominable contractors and deserve not silver but gold for getting rid of them and helping restore peace in his ancient country. But for you as NATO fascists lower and supporter goes my partially agreement at the beginning of my post.

Sorry,

Disagree. They fight for coin, whomever pays. They do not care about morals. So I see no reason for anyone to care about theirs or their lives. Soldiers are sent by governments and governments are responsable. No so for mercenaries.

Your fucking stupid and must be like 12 If you said in this case PMC’s not mercenaries aren’t sent by governments ever heard of Executive Outcomes..hmmm BlackWater….all sent by government and in Iraq during the insurgency there where more PMC’s then active US military personnel..these people don’t have morals? Have you ever talked to a PMC asked why they do this why they quit spec ops or infantry roles that pay cheap and works them over…they’ll tell you they either can’t find other work for a soldier or they need money to keep food on their families plates but you wouldn’t know about that would you keyboard warrior?

Dude…he’s a F’ing moron. He always has been and always will be. He’s a Zionist cheerleader and uses the US/western propaganda tactics that have served the west so well…not. I don’t even know what his comment was, but don’t need to…his crap is always the same….crap.

it seems that the priority given to “discover and publish possible Russian personnel losses” is always high on propaganda’s list. In case those losses do not happen, then better remember the public that potentially they may.

I know the bias of any given source by the attention it gives to losses (real or not) incurred by which nation.

Welcome Ruskie friends! Have a good hunt

Isis methods remind me of the drug crazed moslem Assassins of middle ages.if i am not mistaken, it was the Mongols that exterminated the original Assassins. How ironic would it be that these central asian “mongols” get rid of isis, fsa and other american- protected vermin!
