This photo shows an accident with the Syrian Army’s battle tank during the redeployment along the M5 highway (Aleppo-Damascus), which has been recently liberated from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and other radical militant groups. The incident reportedly took place near the village of Babila.
not so hurry, guys! :))
In Arma 2, you walk up to the tank, click menu, and then click on the little car icon, and it will automatically flip on to its tracks. Just be careful though cause it could land on you.?
This isn’t a videogame.
Thanks Captain Obvious. This isnt a seriouspoast.
That bridge looks like it could support an aircraft carrier.
Sleeping and driving, those men might need some rest.
Pervitin would do the job.
Seems intact, if crew is safe ,not a big problem.
turret drive & barrel probably fkt up
Can you see any damage on the barrel?
Looks perfectly fine if you want to fire a hook shot to the left. :)
I hope crew came out without a scratch
Russian Soldiers are thinking the same
I hope so to.
USA France, britain sentrum UN must tell Erdogan to withdraw.
Right it up and then convert it into a rocket artillery tank, if turret and barrel buggered.
I don’t think this happened recently if it is an accident, I’m not an armour plating specialist nor anywhere close but …. The turret is very heavily corroded suggesting that either it happened quite some time ago or it was hit by an ATGM which lets the corrosion begin almost immediately as many battlefield photos will testify.
There was no suggestion of a MBT loss on the M5 highway operation so either it is an old accident by head-choppers or it was hit by an explosive device which struck the turret causing the driver to lose control and swan dive over the edge.
The fact that nothing else has rusted on the MBT like tracks siding or axils heavily implies it was turret damage causing it to leave the surface of the bridge.
Could it have been a head choppers tank attacked by RuAF or Syrian Air Force in run up to the M5 assault
Looks like driver error to me. I hope the men made it out without serious injury.
Nothing to worry! It was a routine bridge inspection.
No curb or guard rails.
