The Syrian military has shot down an Israeli reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the southern Syrian province of Quneitra, according to pro-government sources. According to the released photos, the downed UAV is an Israeli-made Skylark miniature UAV.
The UAV was shot down amid ongoing clashes between the Syrian Army and militants northeast of the city of Daraa in the same region. The Israeli military has likely expanded its reconnaissance operations in the area checking the scale of the Syrian Army’s expected advance in southern Syria.
Could have been my kid´s.
The terror state of Israel loses another one. I hope the next time they target Syria with missiles or planes they lose some of those as well. It would be cause to celebrate in earnest!!!
They’ve already lost some, but can’t wait to see some more.
Natanyahu said If only Syria this or taht, we will… looks like we will eat some serious shit.
Good one, lets keep on going.
Not surprising, those are the type that can be bought on Amazon and provide good short range recon. I read that the US marines have started issuing those even to small recon platoons.
Doubt it was even an Israeli, seeing SF could not identify the model.
That’s were ISIS bought theirs!
Too bad it wasn’t a manned aircraft.
Just an UAV. A PLANE would be better…. (F-35, if I’m not asking too much ;)…. )
