Are all UAV’s this slow?
Most drones are slow, their speed rsnges frim 150kph to 900kph depending on type and model. But prop driven ones are usually very slow.. Thats the reason they can stay that long in the air they burn less fuel. Russia built supersonic drones in the past but they are short duration recon units.
It really does not matter how fast they go since they cant out fly a missile. The faster they go the costlier and complicated and per hour cost goes way up.. Why Russia uses SU24 which cost $2k/hour instead of Mig29 cost $20K/hour to operate.

Yes on paper, the dumbass Turkeys have a very poor operational record, they have lost over 20 drones and I would estimate perhaps another 30 or so are operational but are proving very vulnerable to Russian and Iranian jamming and manpads. I saw a report that Russia and Iran are bring lasers to the frontlines.

Who do think is shooting down the drones in large numbers? it is the Iranians that have armed their advisory force with manpads along with SAA and Hezbollah allies. The Iranians have also dismantled the drones and found their vulnerability.

Turkey has a lot of these drones unlike ANKA that never been mass produced an only had e few build the Bayraktar TB2 S/iHA has been built in greater numbers. I seen sources claim that 153 been built but wikipedia has the number 118 built.
