US military have launched joint exercises with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) near the settlement of Abu Hashabe on the left bank of the Euphrates river in the Syria’s province of Deir ez-Zor.
The US M2 Bradleys, HMMWV armored vehicles and Javelin ATGM were deployed in the manoeuvres.

On the eve, a convoy of six M2A3 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles was spotted heading from the US military base in Rumeylan in northeastern Syria towards Al-Shaddadi and the province of Deir ez-Zor.

Probably because there appears to be some agreement between both sides not to cross each others border from when they started to push ISIS out from Nth Western Syria , SDF one side , SAA the other all the way past the dam where they had a minor clash , past Raqqa and then the race down the banks of the Euphrates to capture control and Deir a Zeir and the oil fields. If one followed those attacks it was all about securing the Euphrates as the border and nothing to do with ISIS. That has been the way it has stayed since then. Besides if the SAA struck the Yanks then all hell would be unleashed from every aircraft and other assets the US has in the whole area. As much as we would like the SAA to kick their butts reality says it ain’t gonna happen.
